background: my aunt is a super conservative Christian woman and has been through a really tough time for the last 5 years. my uncle has a disease which no one has a sure diagnosis, but making things short he got Parkinson or/and dementia (I'm not a native so that was the term I saw on the internet) and will have to take drugs for his life even though none of them has shown significant results; bad with them, worse without (they are really expensive btw). he is really bad, just a child with mobility, memory problems, and social awkwardness rn (he can't even sit on a chair by himself. I'm serious. he has been doing physiotherapy for months and still no results. can't eat by himself either, has to be spoon-fed)
my aunt just sent a painful message about how bad she is rn, and the fact that half of my family (we are around 20ish) got covid and we not celebrating Christmas and new years' eve together are making it worse. she has a minimum wage job, a 14-year boy at home and simply doesn't have her husband around. neither alpha bucks nor beta bucks are being satisfied. I don't know if that exists but from a Briffault Law perspective, the only thing she's getting in return for the relationship is not being shamed by ''God'' and other people for stop trying. (they already had money problems before because of his inability of keeping his jobs, but we think that he already has this problem for a long time and it got worse throughout time As we know, women don't care about our struggles and even if they do, it is for a limited time)
If I can be honest with y'all, I can't be mad at her. My uncle was a really funny guy to be around and I really liked to be around him, but now I can't do it due to the fact that is really painful to see the situation he's at, and the ZERO perspective of getting better makes it a really shit situation for everyone. must say that except for his mother, no one of his own family seems to give a shit about him. my dad and uncles are basically paying all the expenditures.
I'm not saying that she WILL leave her, but I won't be mad if it happens. I've been thinking about it from a RP perspective and I can't stop myself from being empathetic towards her.
