I’m 21 yo, currently studying vehicle engineering and politics to become a teacher in these subjects. In Germany you need a bachelor and a master to become a teacher so I still need to study 5 more years to even start earning my own money. Even then I took 7 years of my life just to earn a mediocre amount of money.

Now I became unsure about the way I choose. I’m still living with my parents cause I can’t effort my own place, I can’t effort anything else cause the little money I get goes directly to my car, the gym and food.

I thought about quitting university and start learning a job so I get money directly or change my study subject to something else which doesn’t take that long and maybe give me some more money.

Maybe you can give me some advice or help making a decision.
