Long story short, hit it off with a girl a couple months ago. Kiss closed and then she moved away. A couple weeks ago we are texting and she says she will be in town this weekend. I tell her to come with me to a music festival happening here and that I’ll snag an extra vip ticket for her.She says she’s down. I buy her a VIP ticket ($500). I was with friends and planned on meeting her at festival. She got there a couple hours before me and her phone died so never worked out meeting there. We track each other on find my friends, her phone legitimately died. Anyways after she goes home and charges phone and text me and apologizes. Then comes and meets me at bar. She texts me when she arrives and I tell her where I am and she doesn’t actively find me. I do one last walk through and she talking to another guy and she acts like “ there you are “ when I finally see her. Guy seems to be clued in and immediately walks away. We start talking and end up having a good time for next couple hours. She wants to make plans for today to hang out. She cancels this morning saying let’s hang out before music fest tomorrow. I had a wedding tonight so couldn’t hang with her tonight. So I text her a couple times today. No response. I get it she’s not into me. I also knows she feels obligated to do something with me. How do I basically tell her thanks but no thanks without come off as salty. In reality I’m a retard for buy this girl a $500 ticket and am a little salty. There definitely was some attraction when we first met but it’s not there apparently any more. Advice needed.
