I'm 19, male, at university, two close friends and a bunch of not so close friends

I've been extremely depressed for a while now. However over the past week I've made the positive change and began active rehabilitation.

I joined a gym, got my diet in great order and am following a weightlifting routine 3 days split 3on1off.

I started reading through red pill material over the past week and I can say that it has helped alleviate some stress worry anxiety and sadness since I'm gaining a better understanding of society and women.

I'm wondering what else I can do to help with my depression. I do have a group of friends from my old career, all guys. I became detached from them but I am probably going to arrange a night out with them.

There is something else as well that's playing on my mind: I began a new job two months ago, 2 colleagues are leaving with their last shift on Friday, Everyone bar me has signed a card and given £5 towards each of them as a leaving gift. Should I give money? I don't feel obligated since I have only done about 5 shifts with them whereas everyone else has easily done 20+. Its not a lot of money but it is over an hours wages.

Things I really feel are helping are: gym, getting my diet on track, taking a real interest in fitness.

Just posting this in a community I feel comfortable in feels good.

What else would you recommend.
