Hey Red Pill, Long time lurker here in need of help making the most out of the army and dealing with my lack of drive towards the future. I am 23 years old. My contract is for 6 years active with 2 inactive unless needed. While have already gotten through 2 of them from reading the side bar and just bearing down, I'm starting to feel quite jaded, hostile, and ultimately unhappy.

I know this is a lot of fluff so I put a TLDR AT THE BOTTOM. In my PRE-TRP ways I had a LTR of 3 years who was having family/housing problems and I joined with the foolish mindset that her and I would live together and travel. I enlisted. Came back from basic. Married. Then the army sent me to nursing school. I moved her with me and I struggled to be an adult at the time, as I was raised quite sheltered. After 2 months of her and I living together she told me she missed her parents. Money was very tight but I was a cuck, so I paid for her ticket.

48 hours or so had passed when I couldn't ignore that gut feeling in me. She didn't return my phone calls or texts. This continued for 8 months. Until she hit me with the 'I want out' through text. I didn't know it then but I was lucky. We had no kids. However I handled it like shit. Feeling sorry for myself. Stopped eating. Isolating myself. I kept trying to hamster it to put no blame on her. I felt resentment towards the army, and still do, to a lesser extent.

While going through the Licensed Practical Nurse Course I failed 2/18 tests in the very beginning, where we are only allowed to fail 3. But then I discovered the Red Pill. Thank god. I read the sidebar even though it took a couple of tries to stick. I started lifting. Finished my nursing course and got my License to be an LVN/LPN. I went from 121 pounds to 145 at 5'10. I'm still working on it. Made a friend who told me "We are going to the gym every fucking day until that shallow bitch regrets it." lol. Felt fucking angry but driven. I pocketed as much BAH as I could, playing on my wife's guilt (if any) Divorced now. Uncontested. I know that could have been so much worse. I am not getting married again. Had one night stands. Approached at bars/clubs. Tried tinder had some awful hookups and some solid ones. Learned why I shouldn't date/fuck girls I work with. Dabbled with escorts. I'm still digesting some components of the Red Pill. I have switched a large portion of my mindset.

I'm now seeing a girl who cooks for me, cleans, works out, low number count, sex when I want, has two jobs, and is going to college to be a registered nurse. She is not mine its just my turn is always in my mind, yet for now I'm enjoying this while it lasts.

Now I'm in a Forward Surgical Team which basically means we have a deployment coming up. Honestly the resentment I feel towards the army is high. I feel burned out and lazy. My points for E-5 is like 42 (which I have) but I feel little drive to tackle more responsibility with very little pay increase. I tried doing online college using tuition assistance but I feel like I have no purpose. This deployment is causing me to be scared, and I'm starting to want to spend more time with this girl I'm seeing. I honestly don't know the path I should take. My plan was to originally become a Registered Nurse but that is only because it pays more than LVN. I have no real desire for it. I feel kind of trapped. Help me sort my life together.

TLDR: Joined the army for a girl. Got married. Divorced. Became a nurse. 4 years left and 2 inactive. Feeling angry. No desire to improve/promote. Feeling lack of purpose/drive. Getting Deployed and causing me to want to spend more time with a girl who has good qualities for now. No Idea what I'm doing when I get out. Advice on what I should do while I wait to get out?
