So I cold approached a girl on-campus, she was studying with headphones in. I initiated a convo and it was pretty good (she I mmediately took the headphones off and chatted) , based on her reactions she was enjoying herself. The rapport was pretty damn good, but she was probably intimated ( I'm older & non white & fit).

I packed up and was heading to class I asked her if she wanted to "hang out sometime" she said " but I don't know you." I just paused for a sec and she then she said " but I'll see you around campus" and I just said "okay" and went my way ( IDGAF attitude)

The only other option that I can think off is to say " yea thats why you hang out with people, to get to know them"

Which option seems better? Or is there a 3rd that I'm missing.
