Don't text back and forth with a girl. She gets validation from it and doesn't have to give you anything. It makes you an orbiter. Find something fun to do and invite her to join you. If she doesn't, and just gives you some excuse, ignore her for a week or so, then try again. If again she declines, next her or at most try again in a month.

Absolutely yes. Yes, she would.

Don't waste time finding out if she is interested in you by analyzing your text exchanges. That is the typical weak beta approach. I was like this, too and have to cringe everytime I see a friend do this.

Once you two make out, you will know if she is interested in you. You won't know before.
