Not having any friends sucks. You don't have a source of positive emotions so you have nothing better to think about than hooking up. I'd recommend going out to make friends instead of getting laid. Once you have some friends, go out and have fun with them. Let your mood get amped up that way, then draw chicks in to your circle and make it fun. From there you can work on isolation and escalation. Oh yeah, and definitely jerk off and/or get a hooker every now and then to kill the thirst so you ca…

Also, search this sub and the main TRP sub for "monk mode", there are a lot of good posts about it that address it in more depth.

The usual recommendation is monk mode. Think Dark Knight or Karate Kid.

Get her talking. girls love to talk. Yes. Just nod your head and smile like the chinese No. Too much smiling is beta and pandering. Smile when she says something you actually like. Look slightly bored and uninterested the rest of the time. Interrupt her to ask questions or change the subject from time to time. Don't let her lead the conversation, but do let her do most of the talking.

I don't understand what the question is. Are you asking how to game chicks at a coffee shop? Or is this some kind of "how to read Reddit alone at a coffee shop like an alpha?" kind of question?

A few things: Even if he wants sex more than her, she still gets pleasure from it (assuming he's good in bed). If she really doesn't want sex right then, blow jobs are almost always an acceptable alternative. Consider the inverse situation. Say she wants more romantic time together than he does. Should he turn her down, or think of it as a "favor" to be repaid when he does it? How would she feel if he, even if just implicitly, held it over her head every time he went to the movies with her when …

Haven't read the full post yet, but you asked for book recommendations, so here you go: No More Mr Nice Guy by Robert Glover Way of the Superior Man by David Deida Iron John: A Book About Men by Robert Bly (not technically red pill, but a great book on masculinity in general) Other resources: The Black Phillip Show The Beige Phillip Show Good luck bro.

you married a man and made him promise to "forsake all others", Why would you say no? Man here, I don't usually butt in around here, but I just had to congratulate you on recognizing this. I think a lot of women have no clue how much of a sacrifice this is for men. We're tempted every day by hot chicks and strange pussy, and if your man was hot/cool/high-status/etc enough for you, he's probably good enough for other women. Do yourself and him a favor, don't put him in a position where he's tempt…

You forgot "isolate". That needs to be in there somewhere between "establish rapport" and "fuck". I.e., you should escalate physically before, during and after the isolation process. That's the problem I've had up until recently, forgetting to isolate, as if I'm expecting them to isolate themselves or something. I have to remind myself to find reasons/excuses to draw her away from the group and then further to somewhere we can be alone-ish, even if it's just a corner booth in the bar where we ca…

Too crazy and too young. She doesn't have any idea who she is or what she wants. Don't commit to anyone at your age. Have fun, make good friends, fuck bitches as a part time hobby. Trust me, as a 32 year old guy who's been in a 10 year long monogamous relationship with a cheating psycho bitch, I would do anything to be 15 again knowing what I know.

No, you're right. Women will try to throw your words and attitude back at you. If you're pimpin, she'll get sassy and try to escalate that attitude back. But this is universal. Even with good guy game, she'll do that, it'll just be a different form, ie, she'll escalate by demanding for "good guy" kind of stuff from you. They're just shit tests.

I started off with Stronglifts 5x5, it's a very simple workout system designed for practical strength training, and I've been really impressed with my gains so far. Also, they have a pretty cool mobile app for keeping track of your workouts and progress. I've also heard a lot of good things about Starting Strength, but I haven't tried it myself.

The thing is, variety isn't all it's cracked up to be. I disagree with this. Variety is the spice of life, and an intrinsic part of the male sexual imperative. Things might be great in his sex life now, but years down the road, men do get bored with having sex with the same person, and the Coolidge Effect is a powerful thing.

I can't seem to find it now, but on one of the manosphere blogs there was a good blogpost about how a guy had a GF who knew he was seeing other women, but one day her sister saw him out with another chick, and the GF broke up with him just because she couldn't handle the shame of her family knowing.

First off, TRP is amoral and objective. You're asking a moral and subjective question. But, here are some things to ask yourself. Do you have moral qualms with cheating? Do you think you can pull off enough frame control to convince your wife to be ok with you having girlfriends? Do you think she's the kind of woman who would turn a blind eye as long as you were discreet? (You'd be surprised how many women are ok with their husbands having sex outside the marriage as long as he's discreet and sh…

This here. I don't know when TRP got so many "pink knights". People who think TRP is about "respecting women" or whatever. Bitches love being your bitch. I guess maybe if you're older, and you're trying to run "Good Guy(tm) game" then you can avoid it, but I get IOIs on a regular basis calling girls bitch. As long as it's solidly part of your frame that you do that, and your attitude and demeanor are congruent, everything's fair game.

I agree with all of this except the whole "I'll pay for beer but not wine" part. Comes off as petty. Wine isn't usually that much more expensive than beer, just when you sit down and start looking at the menu, ask her what she's going to get to drink in a casual way, as if you're just curious. If she says she's thinking of ordering something expensive, say, in an authoritative tone, like you 'know' a lot about wine, "no way, I've had that, it's not worth it, go for _____" and pick a wine of the …

The only thing in that pic I "notice" as makeup is the eyeliner, but it's not bad. I think the thing about this pic is that the colors match her natural tone, etc, so it doesn't look like a harsh contrast. On the other hand, this is the (extreme) version of how not to do it.

Man here, and I think this is spot on. I think a good analogy, in general, is that a man's confidence is his equivalent of makeup. Applying that analogy here, makeup which is obviously just makeup, would be like a man with confidence that is obviously fake or forced.

I was thinking about this more and I just remembered something Patrice O'Neal said about being in an LTR: "the amount of time it takes her to turn you in to a pussy is the amount of time she'll stick around to enjoy you being a pussy." And I think a similar principle applies in the reverse; i.e., you unpussifying yourself in her eyes takes an amount of time proportional to how long you were her pussy orbiter. I'm not sure if it's strictly a 100% basis, but maybe 25-50%. So if you've been orbitin…

The standard hard-line advice of "bang 10 other chicks" applies to old orbits just like it does for old LTRs/oneitis/etc. But, depending on how beta you were, and also how tight your orbit was, there might be a chance still. As long as you weren't that guy who did everything for her and followed her around everywhere like a little puppy dog, then what I would recommend is: Break orbit immediately. No contact for at least a month. Ignore her attempts to contact. If you're forced in a situation wh…

Backpack might not be a good idea, makes it harder to keep good posture since you'll have to lean forward, hunch your back, and shrug or roll your shoulders forward to compensate for the weight on your back. A good hiking backpack is better because they're designed to hold the weight higher, but they're expensive and still not ideal. If you're working on your posture, walk without a backpack.

(not entirely sure why but combining asking a favor while making it seem like they are seeking your good graces seems like a great way to enhance rapport) It makes them feel invested in you. Basically putting them in to a sink costs situation. They start to reverse rationalize why they did it and conclude that it must be because you're worth it.

When my (soon to be ex-) wife went in to her slut phase, she started taking adderall to lose weight (and she lost a lot of weight, fast) totally changed her fashion (from yoga pants to skinny jeans and boots), started staying up really late and sleeping all day, lost interest in her hobbies, started getting really irritable and shit testy, became obsessed with her phone ("just playing games" of course...), started racking up male friends on Facebook, etc.

It's also been demonstrated in other animals. Make clown fish attract mates by their colors, but if there are two males with the same brightness of colors, etc, the females will wait until one of them mates with one of the males then all the other females will try to mate with that same male. It's so deeply embedded in our biology that it's seen in pretty much all animal species.

Okay, but all of that is incredibly self-centred and selfish. That doesn't mean it's not true. It can be true and selfish at the same time. And it's always more headache for the guy at the end of the day to be honest. Relationships can be more headache for a guy. If it wasn't for the biological imperative to have sex and reproduce, I suspect most men wouldn't bother with relationships at all. And if you think connection and companionship are what relationships are about, a person can get that fr…

I think there's nothing wrong with this approach, in fact, that's how I roll I lot of times. Just being the guy other guys like and want to be around gives you a type of pre-selection that a lot of girls like: leadership pre-selection. A lot of girls love to see a guy who can lead and engage other men. The trick with this kind of game is to draw women in to the situation, but not focus on them. If there are already women in the group, just tease them occasionally, brush off any attempts they mak…

I like that analogy, very true. A lot of the stuff discussed there is purely utilitarian. It's discussed just for the effect of getting men to think about things differently. I.e., AWALT. The point of AWALT isn't that all women are literally like that all the time, but it's just to get you to be prepared for any woman to be "like that" and that they all have the potential to. Giving men a space to vent, rant and rave is cathartic, but also gives them valuable feedback to help them grow through i…

Maybe it's the mere fact that you aren't interested in them that makes them feel the need to pursue you. This is actually one of the core components in red pill game. Learn to cultivate that same attitude with the chicks you like, and they'll chase you in the same way. Case in point, almost 90% of the chicks I've banged pre-RP were chicks I treated like annoying, stupid brats. They would literally beg me for sex sometimes. Meh, live and learn, that's what it's about. Personally, I think going through an "asshole" phase is an important part of unplugging. Break down that fear of rejection and the need for validation. It's a married version of a soft next. Sometimes in marriages, especially where the man has been very beta/BP for a long time, or if she's a borderline, this kind of nuclear dread is necessary to reset the frame. If it doesn't work, probably time to file divorce anyway. Edit: words...

I agree that "The Red Pill" doesn't take a moral stance on these issues, but there's nothing wrong with discussing the moral implications. It's like science. Science is amoral, but the application of it can raise questions of morality. Think of it as "applied red pill".

The way I see it, any relatively attractive girl worth sleeping with will always have some guy in her life, at some level of involvement. Women don't get wet, they just jump from raft to raft. It's not your responsibility to worry about that unless you yourself are expecting fidelity from her -- in which case, it's solely your responsibility to worry about that, and no one else's. The only exception I make is for good friends, in which case, if she's making moves or signaling her availability to…

Yes. I see so many posts and comments that basically say you should next every chick that doesn't jump on your cock immediately. Sometimes you have to be persuasive. Sometimes you have to wait until the second date. Sometimes they're going to flake once or twice. You aren't Brad Pitt.

Muscle will help a lot, but not too much. Go for lean and mean, tone, etc, instead of brick shithouse. If you have a thin frame, broaden your shoulders and chest. Shoulder to waist ratio is a big factor in male attractiveness. Also, consider boots with thick soles. There are a lot of good boots that'll add 2-3 inches that don't look like platforms. Also, yes, confidence, game, etc, can definitely help compensate for being short. Lastly, try gaming really tall chicks. Seems counter intuitive, but…

Yep, I had this exact realization a month or so ago. Learning to bend at the hips/glutes instead of rounding your back has made a big difference for me. Another thing about getting up from a chair is to push the chair back far enough to stand straight up out of it instead of that half-stand/half-scoot maneuver.

I disagree with your response. I would go with something more like "I had a girlfriend once that I treated like that... I took her for granted and I hated myself for it. I tried to leave her several times but she would always beg me to stay." The thing is, what she's telling you is what she wants. She dates guys like that because she likes it. She wants to be used and treated like shit because it makes her feel like she's with a man who's better than her. Why would you try to convince her you're…

No, that'll just put him in ego defense mode and will only escalate the situation. There's a difference between "don't put up with bullshit" and being "that guy" who needs to one-up everyone. True dominance doesn't need to "dominate" others to prove himself.

I think 8 and 11 are petty red pill depending how you interpret them. "Protect your own heart" could mean don't invest all of you're emotional state in her, and don't put yourself in a position where she can deeply hurt you. "Be present" could mean the kind of mindful "present in the moment" stuff RSD Tyler talks about, which I think is still good advice in an LTR.
/r/TheRedPill06/11/14 06:13 PM

Without more context it's hard to say. If this is just a girl in your social circle who "just wants to be friends" then move on and game other chicks. You can't dread a girl that's not in to you, because dread requires fear of loss, but if she's not in to you she doesn't fear losing you. Just move on, but don't get upset about it.
/r/askTRP06/11/14 01:36 PM

You can do that without monk mode. The point of "monk" mode is isolation to develop outcome independence and self-actualization without relying on the validation of others. If you're just confused about "what you want to be when you grow up", that's a valid issue to spend some time thinking about. Draw some mind maps. Explore different things. But that's not monk mode.

/r/TheRedPill06/11/14 01:44 AM

My opinion is you should minimize socializing except with close male friends occasionally. The way I see it, the point is to become self-actualized without the need of validation from others, while working on your self improvement. Socializing too much in monk mode seems like it defeats the point of "monk" mode.

TRP talks in terms of generalizations because they're useful as a default set of assumptions. The point of AWALT is that AWA(potentially)LT. In other words, all women have the instinctual drive of hypergamy, AF/BB, branch swinging, shit testing, etc, etc. Some women were raised with a social/moral conditioning to suppress or channel those drives in a positive way. But even the sweetest, most loyal and loving woman will be tempted to branch swing if you fuck up bad enough in the relationship. And…

Can you ever tell me you've never been in a relationship, saw a girl who was way hotter than your girlfriend and felt some form of desire towards her? It's different with men though. While women are naturally hypergamous, men are naturally polygamous. A woman's hypergamy makes her want to leave her current man for a better man. A man's polygamy makes him want to add a better woman to his harem. Social conditions make this harder, funneling his polygamy in to serial monogamy, so the result is tha…

Treat it like an affair. From what you describe it doesn't like it is, but I think standard affair advice would be a good fit: tell her to call him, while you're there listening, and have her tell him she can't see him any more and to move on. Make sure she does this with you in the room. If she can't do that, next.

Tinder is all about hooking up. The way to get laid on tinder is to be attractive and have good pics. That's all. Even if you want something more than a hook up, you should always start relationships with sex as soon as possible. Is much easier to turn a sexual relationship in to a romantic one than the other way around. Edit: also, don't message back and forth with questions, just be cocky/funny for 2-5 messages at most then go for the meet.

If her husband is always gone, she probably assumes he's cheating. And he probably is. If she's looking to cheat, it'll either be with you or someone else. The problem feminists have with TRP is the same they have with PUA. Women want to be able to differentiate between "real" alphas, and betas who are "faking" it. They read stuff on TRP and with a superficial understanding of it they reject it as "fake". Feminism is a global shit test designed to accentuate the difference between betas and alphas so the alphas are easier to spot, and the betas are more easily manipulated. I've had a lot of success with stronglifts 5x5. It's 3 days a week, you won't spend all the time being sore, but it really puts on the muscle. And it's a practical strength workout instead of an ambulation (bulk) work out. Your muscles will be proportional to your body, bigger, but most importantly you'll feel more accomplished lifting the heavy weights. And on top of that, heavy squats and deadlifts will significantly boost testosterone. Edit: won't*

I'd say keep at it for at least another month, and keep lifting and pick up a physical hobby. Stay in monk mode until you stop missing not being in monk mode. The goal is to develop yourself without the need for others. This is how you get outcome independence, self-confidence, and a good baseline SMV. Once you're at that point, go out and tear it up in the social world. You'll fail horribly at first, but if you did monk mode right, you won't care and will keep going. Edit: words. Edit 2: think …

How long have you been in monk mode? Also, are you lifting? Have you taken up a physical hobby (rock climbing, martial arts, etc)? Both of these are essential to monk mode.

The problem is you want to approach it like shop talk, which is what men do when they have common interests; taking a subject deeper and deeper in a back-and-forth exchange. What you need to do instead is: Firstly, when talking about your interests, tell it like a story, don't expect then to have anything to add except questions and comments. Your goal is to convey your enthusiasm about it. People like seeing your enthusiasm. Teach then about it in an engaging way. Secondly, when they're talking…

Either way. One of the best pieces of advice I've read on how often/soon to text a chick was "lead an interesting and fulfilling life and text her when you're bored." I don't think specific timeframes are as important as much as maintaining a frame of "my life is already awesome, but I'd kind of like to add you as an accessory to it."

I'm not a huge fan of the "Brad Pitt/whoever test". None of us are that high status and expecting women to treat us like that is retarded. Besides, even if she wouldn't flake on That Guy at first, she would eventually shit test him. They can't help it. Women will shit test any guy at some point. In fact, she might shit test the famous guy harder, at least after getting her fuck opportunity, because she expects even more out of him. Stop nexting every chick who doesn't jump on your cock immediate…

I wouldn't next her. She seems genuinely interested, and even invited you to her place. Wait a few days then pick your 2 favorite beers and ask her which one you should bring over. Escalate, close, leave.

Size only maters to a point. Unless it's a hasty ONS where she's using you as a man-meat dildo, for the most part women don't fuck penises, they fuck personalities. So if you're dominant, good in bed and can "own her mind", as Patrice O'Neal says, then she won't even be conscious of the size of your dick. Unless it's really small. In which case, be sure to make her cum several times with your fingers, tongue, etc before fucking her.

If you're attractive, she won't care. She can always hamster it as "I was drunk, I don't usually do that."

Chicken and egg I guess. Women devote about 75% of their brain power to thinking about people, relationships, and social interaction. So, if that's what you mean by "care" then sure. But I highly doubt most men wouldn't "care" if they actually had reason to suspect his woman might actually be interested in other men.

I think it's not so much that men don't care, I think it's more that they don't notice and are so naive that it doesn't even cross their mind that their innocent little princess could even be tempted by other men. In a way, that's (beta) men projecting their own loyalty on to women. In general, most of these kind of truths can be explained by both genders' lack of understanding about gender differences. Men assume women are like them, and women assume the inverse.

Tall, fairly attractive white guy here. These guys might get a lot of attention from women, but one day they're going to end up married with kids, and find his wife fucking his best friend, spending all his money, and being a lazy brat. Then they'll come here trying to figure out what happened. At least, that's how it happened for me. There's more to TRP than just getting laid.

Illustrate - 2. to make clear or intelligible, as by examples or analogies; exemplify. Edit: in fact, you just wrote a small work of fiction (the hypothetical story about the female MMA fighter) to try to illustrate your point. Also, you completely missed my point by trying to argue that your fictional fiction doesn't "prove" anything. I already said fiction doesn't prove anything. You're trying to prove that fiction doesn't illustrate by giving a fictional example of fiction that fails to prove…

I agree that fiction doesn't prove anything, but it can illustrate and exemplify. For example, I think Mad Men is a great example of TRP for a person who already accepts it as true and wants a good role model to emulate while they get a feel for it. So fiction can serve a useful purpose. As a simple example of this, look at all the threads about text game where people offer hypothetical text convos as examples. They're fictional, but illustrative. Sure they don't prove that TRP works, but that's…

It's just part of the joke, don't take it seriously (just like everything else). I had a plate (honestly, she was a 4, maybe 5, I'm not proud of it) who I called bitch one time over text, she declared that I was to never call her that again. I told her to fuck off, bitch. She escalated the argument and I ignored, soft nexted her, thinking she was being controlling (i thought "you're barely a 5, bitch!"). Anyway, she texts a few days later to invite me over. Moral: Never take them seriously. I wo…

Honestly, this might be a case where therapy is a good idea. Don't take it the wrong way, the fact that you came here looking for a solution means you've already identified a problem and are willing to fix it. I highly recommend any kind of CBT/DBT therapy. To give you a head start, hers a good link on finding a RP-compatible therapist.

I think this is an important point. There are a lot of guys who tried to save their existing relationships with TRP only to have it fall apart, and blame TRP. Red "men aren't happy" to get an idea. It's very hard to rescue a long term beta-ized relationship. You're better of starting over. Edit: link added. It's harder to find than I remember.

Is this what TRP has become? Just whiners complaining about the "same" posts, assuming anyone who posts them is spending all day in front of their computers "not approaching girls"? If you've been here so long, know everything already, spend all day approaching girls, maybe you should spend less time on your computer.

If she brings it up just look at her like she's crazy and/or overreacting, then be like "aannyyway..." and change the subject. If she doesn't bring it up, act like it never happened. Ie, don't get all awkward around her.

Forget about her. Don't let her disapproval affect you like this. You said what you said, no need to apologize or explain. If your wife gives you shit about it, just give her your best wry grin, wink and smack her on the ass. Then strut away.

It doesn't necessarily mean she decided she doesn't like you. It's also a common shit test. The correct response would be something like "Yes it was, and you know it ;)" "Of course not. I take my mom out on romantic evenings all the time too. But she never let's me make out with her, haven't figured that out..." "ok" "let's go on a not date again sometime" Etc. Edit: also, the reason you get this shit test is usually because you didn't kino/escalate enough, didn't kiss her at the end, or didn't …

Negatives get subconsciously filtered. It's like when a chick says "ok we can hang out, but don't expect anything to happen", you just say "ok", and then escalate anyway, because you both know that means something's going to happen. Edit: besides "please spank me" may as well be "please do sexy things to me". It comes off as asking for sex. Declining sexy things is much better. If she's in to him, I would expect a response like "oh, I just might!" It creates an excuse for playful banter.
/r/askTRP24/10/14 08:35 PM

So, are you in a monogamous relationship, or is she a plate? If the latter, does she know she's a plate? I guess either way, I just wouldn't respond unless it was to tell her to come over (for sexy time, of course).

Good man. But don't let up, she might not be at that point yet hormonally, so keep the reigns tight. One thing that might help is to take her with you to a fertility Dr. Getting some answers and medical straight-talk might calm her hamster for a bit until you all can try again.

The rest of the advice here is pretty good. I would only add that you should be on high alert for cheating. Women go a little crazy if they fail to have a child with their man. My wife's cheating started shortly after spending a year trying to get pregnant and giving up. There were a lot of other factors, but that was a big one I think.
