Long story short, a potential plate candidate of mine almost unresponsive/unreactive when I escalate. She is pretty tall, so Uncle Vas might know what’s up here, but it feels strange... Like I’ll throw my arm around her, she doesn’t move, doesn’t acknowledge it, but maybe 10-15 minutes later she’ll lean in and accept it. Same thing for every other escalation step. I grab her hand, wait 10-15 minutes, then she’ll reciprocate. I go for a hug, she seems confused, then reciprocates.

Why does this happen, and how should I proceed?
