I don’t see it as any doomsday type of thing, but it goes to show that the modern industrialized society isn’t natural which causes the upset of social balance and the high loneliness/depression/anxiety issues we see in society today

Interesting read. The decay of the society according to me can be attributed to two factors. 1. betazisation of rat race or 2. Dopamine dependency in the sense that they had so many opportunities to release excess dopamine that on later stage when their circuits were exhausted they had no motivation and suffered withdrawal effects.

but not sure of the exact reason ?
