As the title says, did some approaches for the first time this past Friday night. What I mean by this is I specifically went out for the sole purpose of trying to pick up girls. My goal for the night was to do 3 approaches. Ended up doing 4 and got 2 numbers out of the night. Went out with beastmodeMag, who posts on here sometimes and has a solid youtube channel. If you are in the dc/Nova/Maryland area, Id suggest hitting him up if you are new to game and are looking for some coaching. He was great to hang out with and I learned a lot from watching him interact with women. The guy knows game and I got more out of that experience of going out with him than I ever had reading through seddit.

Some takeaways:

  1. I only approached avg looking to below avg looking women during the night. Of the 4 approaches, only one was a flat out rejection. It was probably the most important experience of the night. I realized that being rejected was way worse in my head than what actually ended up happening.
  2. Your energy and being charismatic, fun and playful are much more important things than what you actually say to open up. After that, you do need to have an ability to keep a conversation going. My first couple of approaches I was too boring and not playful enough to build rapport. My last and best approach of the night, I was much more playful, and it ended up being the best approach I had. The two girls I approached ended up driving me home, and one of them seems to be dtf from texts the past couple of days.
  3. I have a long, long way to go to be great at game, but this was a first step. I felt more proud of doing this than I have about anything Ive done in the past couple of years. The door is now open to meeting a ton of great women just because I decided to be ballsy enough to go up to random women in bars. For guys that are lurking and just reading material, I promise you that being rejected is way overblown. Let it happen once, see that its not bad, and move on from there. Reading material and watching youtube videos are only useful if you actual go out and apply the principles you learn.
