Yeah, people hook up on hook up apps, who would have thunk.

I don't generally use pick-up lines. When I did cold approaches ("irl") I would usually just tell the girl something like "excuse me, hey, I just saw you and I thought you look cute, so I want to meet you". I was just being honest and genuine, so bad reactions were rare. That's just the opener though, you have to know what to do after that. On dating apps the best results came from writing a "custom" message where I teased the girl about something in her profile, like "I don't know if I should t…

No and I wouldn't try. I know it's possible, that's for sure, but to be honest I don't know how to do that without being weird. I pretty much only do cold approach, social circle game (and yes, "social circle" includes coworkers) is a different beast and it's easy to get ostracised, even if you're successful you can lose friends, so I no longer touch anyone from my social circle unless they're clearly attracted to me and I feel slutty that day lol (this is yet to include coworkers).

I'm a leftist, closest ideologically to democratic socialism, so I'm far to your left. I don't consider myself a feminist, but I never got any backlash for that, "worst" I got is one guy trying to convince me that if I believe that women are human too, then I'm a feminist. With that in mind, I'm not sure what you're telling these people that they say you're a misogynist, are you making edgy jokes or something?

A friend saw me fail with a girl (she was attracted at first, but I didn't know what to do and I lost her interest) at a houseparty and started telling me about these guys who are good with women, that there are signs you can look for etc. - I was interested, so he sent me a few files via e-mail and told me to read them. The files were: "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka, "The Game" by Neil Strauss and "The Annihilation Method" also by Neil Strauss. I didn't believe that stuff at first and I di…

often it’s the same people encouraging men to open up about their fragilities that then use fragile as an insult? It makes no sense. Yeah, no shit. I think it's become trendy to tell men to open up, but almost no one really wants men to actually open up. And no one wants to know the male perspective on things. When we're talking about the experiences of women, we should listen to women, and when we're talking about the experiences of men, we should also listen to women.

I'm personally a fan of street daygame, so chatting girls up on the street during daytime (on your way to the store or whatever). You can meet really cool people through political activism, but I wouldn't get into that for the sole purpose of meeting people and getting laid lmao. With that said, you can meet women anywhere, as long as there are any women there xd

First of all, I'm not from the US, I'm from Poland, if that matters. Second, I've heard from players I personally met that game in South-East Asia is easier, for multiple reasons. Guys who were hardcases here in Poland had a new girl almost every time they went out when they went to Asia. You know, I don't wanna say that pickup is easy, because it's generally not, but your comment reminded me of something... I've seen plenty of people comment on pickup videos made in the US that "this only works…

Yeah, that's weird, but like my old comment says, I modeled parts of my approach after what I saw and read from him and it works.

Oh wow, a reply to a comment from three years ago. I don't know, he might not be - I never met him, and from what I know he's a bit of a nutcase, but his approach is legit.

How am I talking myself into a hole in this scenario 2 IQ kid? Get back to me with a picture of your results when you take an IQ test. I'll just ignore you until then :)

Nah, try again. So far you're wrong on everything and apparently unable to comprehend even if you're bored or not :) I'm starting to think the 2 in your nickname is your IQ, but take that test and get humbled. I'm serious.

Yep, it's mostly this. However, a lot of PUA guys I got to know personally struggled with insecurity because their own mothers were systematically destroying their confidence since an early age, and then they had to slowly rebuild their self-worth on their own after they became adults. It's a recurring pattern and it's horrible, essentially parents destroying the self-esteem of their own children for no real reason... Sometimes saying horrible things to their kids just because they thought "he w…

If you're "just curious" then why does every comment you make here sound like you're just a pathetic asshole who came exclusively to try and make people feel bad? You got called out hard and you just confirmed what was said with that line about homeless people and with trying to shame yet another person. BTW please don't respond to me if all you plan on doing is adding zero value to the conversation and making another weak jab that will just further confirm that you're a pathetic asshole.

“I don’t accept any cold approaches” is a lie, because as soon as a woman is approached by someone she finds attractive, she likes it. So there's no such thing as a preference regarding how you meet someone. And if some woman really believes that she "doesn't accept cold approaches", but gets cold approached and likes it, then she will rationalise it after the fact that "this wasn't a cold approach, this JuSt HaPpeNeD, it was like something from a romantic comedy" or something to that effect jus…

The reason people keep repeating not to take advice on dating from women is the bullshit comments that women make online. For example, you can find women criticising cold approach, saying stuff like "I would NEVER speak to a random man who approached me on the street!", but I practice cold approach and I know what they say isn't true. If you have a female friend and you listen to her carefully and without judgement, then she may decide to be honest with you and give you some interesting informat…

So my thoughts are that the acne either leads to a decrease in confidence or that physical attraction does matter. Probably a bit of both. Looks do matter, they just matter less than mainstream society and incels will tell you. u/anabrolichk already gave you decent advice ("own that shit"), but I'll just add that if you are seeing a difference in how girls react to you since your acne got severe, then, well, trust your faculties that you are indeed seeing what you're seeing and maybe try doing s…

I don't, but that's because I only do daygame. I'm not discouraging you from doing that if that's what you want, it's just not for me. Also, online game doesn't really transfer much to real life, but hey, here's your chance to prove me wrong.

Let me guess, you never met her in person, and yet you already caught feelings for her. This reeks of desperation. Don't get me wrong, I'm not attacking you, I made the same mistakes when I was a shy teenager. But, please, go outside and talk to women - and I don't mean women from your social circle or women you work with. I mean random strangers, just so you learn how to talk with women, while avoiding creeping out people you know. When I was starting out to do just that, the first thing I read…

I sometimes find myself in situations where an IG close would be better Care to provide an example? Because I can't think of one. In my personal experience Instagram (and Facebook as well) never leads to anything good, unless you want a platonic friend maybe, so I always go for the number.

No. It's not a usually done thing, but it's neither of the things you mentioned. In fact, "daygame" is a thing, here's some good material for beginners if you want to learn.

I did, but in a daygame scenario, not in a club. Just bought the cheapest earphones with a microphone, let them dangle from my shirt, attached them to my phone and used audio recording. Didn't need to get rid of any sounds, but I recorded that just for myself, not to post on youtube or anything like that.

This is so basic that it essentially breaks rule 7, but whatever, here are my answers: The social game, flirtation, I've seen it defined as "lines or moves you use to get the opposite sex into bed". Depends on the context, but I don't recommend using pre-made lines, most of them do not work anyway. Busy streets near malls, but just streets in general are good, although you can apoproach women anywhere you find them...

I'm sorry, but my first thought was "three weeks?! they were talking for three weeks, already had one date, she sends him nudes and he thinks this is too fast?! I've had a girl send me nudes BEFORE the first date and she was not a 'hoe'. what kind of nun is this guy, like WHAT, this is stupid". And while I still think that, it occurred to me that there's a more serious issue here, namely: you might be suffering from the Madonna-Whore complex, where you think that "any woman who fails to live up …

Cold approach is not easy and that's not what the post is saying. It's saying cold approach works. Because it does. And no, it's not comparable to playing the lottery, perhaps you'd like to try and see for yourself.

It has "gone down the tubes" years ago, because field reports are rare, but people who comment and give advice even though they have little to no experience with women are plentiful.

OK, if by success you mean a new girl, as in new sex partner, then one every month or two isn't bad - so maybe my English isn't very good, but the way you worded it made it seem like you're very uncertain. Anyway, if that's the case, then you can ignore most of my second comment here.

From what you are writing? Maybe your English isn't very good and I'm understanding you wrong, so tell me, what kind of experience do you have, what kind of results do you normally get?

I would suggest to have multiple sources of getting women Obviously. You might not have time for multiple sources though, unless you want to focus on only getting women in your life, so you pick the sources that are most time-efficient. First of all, I suggest exchanging numbers. My experience is that Facebook or Instagram lead nowhere good, unless you're looking for a platonic friend. Second, according to Paul Janka, "Trying to get a girls number (or worse, trying to bang her) on a Saturday night at a crowded bar is a loser’s gamble" - and I agree, it's just hard, I suggest daygame instead. Online game is also fine, but for an average man it can get very time consuming, as you might end up having to send literally hundreds of …

Uninstalled Tinder recently, so I don't have one. The last bio I did have was just a few lines about me, nothing particularly exciting. I ended it with something along the lines of "polyamorous, in an open relationship, not available for anything exclusive", but whenever I mention polyamory in my bio my matches drop to zero, so I don't recommend having that bit of info in your bio.

I agree. In my personal experience, weight doesn't have much of an impact on results with women - which is weird, since decent pick up artists say that being thin is a must. Hm. The biggest difference losing weight has made for me is it made me feel better in my body (and practising combat sports gave me more confidence) and THAT'S why I'd advise it.

Same. Dating apps haven't been great for me for approximately a year now, but I haven't really been lonely for the past couple of years, and I've had three concurrent sex partners for a while last year, so I can't say I care. Tinder hasn't been much fun since ~2018 anyway.

I don’t do anything when I ‘notice’ them as I’m not certain and I don’t know whether I should approach You should. "You are never “bothering” a girl by hitting on her. Remember that it’s your duty as a man to engage the opposite sex and initiate contact. Don’t get into thinking you’re being intrusive, she will let you know." from "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka. /r/seduction26/05/22 05:04 PM

Oh. I assumed you two didn't kiss yet and that's why you were so worried about that last text message - that you thought that you might have been too forward by mentioning kissing. It's still not a great message, but honestly, you can relax a bit. I see you already have a plan anyway, so good luck, have fun.
/r/seduction23/05/22 09:20 PM
2

Seems like you're overthinking it. I understand how you might feel, but the text is already sent, plus she's probably not responding simply because she's celebrating and shit, so just put your phone down and relax. More importantly: you're scheduling a third date and you haven't kissed yet? Huh?!

I model my approach after this and the London Daygame Model (look it up), but different men are, well, different, so different things will work for them, and it's up to you to try various approaches and figure out the details.

I can tell you from experience that your example stats are way off, and I could tell you my own stats to give you an idea of what to expect, but I suggest that you don't pay too much attention to any "batting average" and don't put pressure on yourself to perform, just go out and allow yourself to fail for a bit until you start figuring things out.
/r/seduction18/05/22 11:07 PM
1

I guess it's just about how much you want it. Also, the first approach of the day is usually the worst, so just go in with low expectations and even if all you do is say hello and then awkwardly leave, congratulate yourself. At least you did something. Take baby steps and go from there.

I once had a dry spell that lasted for one and a half years and I remember how miserable that was. Also, every time I wanted to go talk to a girl, but didn't, I'd feel painful regret for a long time afterwards, sometimes for weeks, and I remember some missed opportunities even now, years later, the pain I caused myself when I decided not to do anything burned those memories into my brain forever (and yes, when you don't take action, that is also a decision you make). So, I don't remember the exa…

Allow me to just ignore the fluff and get to the point. can I even really learn this stuff if I'm a solitary guy who doesn't like interacting with people most of the time? Yes. I'm an introvert and I've done this. So the short answer for you is: stop looking for excuses, challenge yourself and go talk to cute strangers.
/r/seduction17/05/22 09:43 PM

You begin by getting out of the house and talking to women. I'm being serious. Get out of the house, approach some cute strangers, maybe someone you cross paths with when getting back home from the store or something, and even if at first all you will be able to squeeze out is a faint "hello", that's still good too - at least you did something, you can congratulate yourself for that. Maybe on the next approach you will be able to introduce yourself, and when you get used to chatting up strangers…

Yes! I wrote about this before, but let me write about it again from the perspective of someone who has hundreds of daygame approaches under his belt: I call instead of texting, because my experience with texting was that some girls don't even respond, many others text with me for a while just to go silent later for no apparent reason, and only a few would go on a date with me. With calling, most girls are down to go for a date, and it's easier to set up the logistics of the date - just one quic…

Very long post, will read later if I have the time. So far I just skimmed it briefly looking for things to pick on and disagree, but I haven't found any. So, at first glance this looks like exactly the kind of post some people should read (especially that guy who was recently arguing with me here that the fact he can't make cold approach work must mean that cold approach doesn't work at all), although you don't seem to explain direct game too much, which I think would be useful.
/r/seduction03/02/21 09:25 AM

You're assuming that I'm hypothesising about this (like you seem to be), but no, I'm talking about my real life experience. Your comment will not erase what I experienced and warp reality. You can keep laughing and assuming unflattering things about me, or take your own advice: Go in the real world and try to do what OP described to any woman at all, see what happens. Until then, I hope we're done with this unproductive exchange.
/r/seduction29/01/21 02:06 PM

Keep hypothesising and rationalising to yourself why you don't approach all you want, I actually got out of the house, approached women and got laid. Real life experience > hypothesising on the internet.

Well, there are only two scenarios that ever resulted in success on Tinder for me: 1) you write first and comment on something in the girl's photos or bio and tease her about it 2) the girl writes first (at this point you can answer with almost anything, because her writing first indicates strong interest). There's also a two-part pickup line that started some interesting conversations for me, but it got me nothing IRL, so it's not worth mentioning IMO.
/r/seduction24/01/21 11:10 PM

This is good advice - assume attraction. Unfortunately, you will have to risk being creepy (as you seem to have figured out already). I advise that you look for material written by 60 Years Of Challenge, he wrote a lot about both assuming attraction and risking creepy, it's some of the best PUA-related stuff ever written. BTW, your story is proof that looks alone aren't enough, contrary to the view that mainstream media pushes, and incels share in their own defeatist way.

This is a more complex subject, but I don't think tackling this intellectually is going to help you much, you need action. You already got a few good answers here, but I'm going to be more straightforward: get out of the house and talk to people in real life. The anonymity of the internet allows people to be much more hateful than they would ever have the courage to be in real life. So, again, step one is: get off of your couch and interact with people outside of the internet. I know this is a b…

Let me answer with a meme: "Pro-life or pro-choice? Dude, I'm pro-letarian, of course I support the struggle of women for freedom and the right to self-determination." Real talk, though, I feel like all the "pro-life" people don't actually care about anyone's life. More appropriate terms for their stance would be "anti-choice" and/or "pro-birth". They're laughable, birth is what they care about, at best, not life, after the baby is born no one cares what happens, so it's not "pro-life" in any re…

You misinterpet what the source you cite claims. That's not what those numbers they cited mean. Read the line again: "78% of students reported hook-ups, but only about a third of encounters included intercourse". If, for example, you hook up with someone multiple times, but only have intercourse every third meeting, that means that only about a third of the encounters included intercourse. There are many different tendencies within the left. Saying "Today's left isn't my left" makes no sense, since "today's left" isn't a monolith - and the left of the past wasn't either... As I said, the left is sectarian, pointing at just one or two ideas regarding culture that you disagree with and concluding that this means you're not a leftist is a flawed approach.

Sounds left-wing to me. I find it weird that you wrote that as if you didn't know how sectarian the left is and always was. Makes no sense. If you don't want to call yourself a lefty, that is your choice, but don't let anyone tell you that you have to be a feminist to be a leftist, or that there's something wrong with calling yourself (or being) a lefty.

Oh, I've read the whole comment, don't you worry, I was just hoping that your observation is actually based on something specific, and that "I don't have a great deal of evidence to back up that feeling" doesn't mean "I have no evidence to back that up whatsoever". I'm disappointed to learn that it's just a "vague and unsubstantiated" feeling - I'm not a fan of that kind of argumentation. Where I live the worst parts of feminism only seem to be getting stronger and more widely accepted as part o…

The good news, I think, is that we're finally seeing the beginnings of course correction on this front from the left, generally. Where? In what form? This seems like wishful thinking more than anything.

Yeah, I've had conversations on Facebook and on Reddit with people who seem to think all white people are racist, or that all white people have the same set of beliefs in general, so that's a thing. With that said - "they"? :D This is a left-wing sub, my dude.

Ok, but I don't know you, and I've seen ML used to mean Marxism-Leninism a lot in lefty subreddits. Nothing against you, man, I was just making a mildly humorous observation about how spending time in lefty subreddits influenced my interpretation of things. Or, if you insist on being serious here, we can talk about how abbreviating everything hinders communication.

I'm into cold approach pickup and I highly recommend talking to women on the streets during the daytime. However, to be fair, Tinder isn't that bad, it's just that the quality of your photos matters a lot on Tinder. The same face, but in a better picture, will get you different results. Tinder can go from "deserted wasteland" to "actually fun" when you get a higher quality photo, although it's still a very time consuming way of meeting women if you're an average guy.

I'm kinda annoyed I spent 20 days talking to her and got not even a date out of it Don't wait this long to ask a girl out next time. I suggest you read "Mode One" by Alan Roger Currie, it will be helpful. For now, I think you should just continue messaging her and try asking her out again after a while.
/r/seduction18/09/20 09:21 AM

Really bad reactions are rare. You will laugh off most "negative" reactions. The worst I got was probably one girl telling me something like "man, gimme a break" after I approached her, back when I was still figuring this shit out. Now go out there and get your own stories.
/r/seduction15/09/20 11:06 PM

Mostly it was seeing how - no matter how their relationship looked exactly - people would almost always be criticised that they're doing polyamory wrong. It hasn't happened to me, but just seeing it regularly rubbed me the wrong way, especially since I expected the poly crowd to be rather openminded, you know? The straw that broke the camel's back was seeing a thread devolve into stuff like "black people can't be racist" out of nowhere, it was just weird, out of place and cemented my perception …
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/09/20 04:19 PM

Yup. I didn't even read that, all it made me think is "sir, this is a Wendy's". Another issue is that the polyamory sub is a shithole. I'm poly, but had to unsub from there.

I'm getting radicalised and want to start doing something as a lefty (especially since I'm in Poland and things are getting weird here). Wanted to join a Facebook group of a local collective that I visited IRL as a start. First question I got: "why are you a feminist?" Something along the lines of "I'm not, I want gender equality, but I feel that feminists are too quick to dismiss male viewpoints in issues that are not gender specific" was apparently the wrong answer :(

Mystery also said that if you play the game right, you should be able to get any girl you want (he used to call it "5 for 5"). The basics of his method work (at least to an extent), but the guy used to say a lot of bullshit.
/r/seduction24/07/20 04:08 PM
2

It'll be like this for a while. You'll be a winner one day, hesitant to even approach and feeling like you're back at square one the next. Approaching becomes less of a deal with practice, but the first approach of the day will be the worst one probably always. Just do it to get it over with.
/r/seduction19/07/20 10:33 PM

I have a very similar approach. Highly recommended. Just make sure to always get to the point and actually ask the girl out at some point. Don't eject yourself from the interaction without at least trying.
/r/seduction16/07/20 09:25 PM

That's quite a non-sequitur. My first impulse was to tell you to ask those people. Keep in mind PUA is not a uniform thing, there are various methods, and not everything will work for everyone, since we're all different dudes with different personalities and different issues. My experience is that many people just dabble in the subject and get discouraged when it doesn't bring immediate success.

No, I'm attempting to have a conversatiom, but you're dodging every request for anything that has any merit. What is daygame to you? We will never know. I think you just started talking to yourself now, because you're mostly just repeating back what I just wrote. Give me your own definition of daygame if you disagree with mine. There's no merit in you talking about feelings. Also, what was the "advice" you gave? If there was anything helpful there, I missed it. I don't have much hope for an intelligent response though.

The incel LARPer is still projecting I see. The topic was experiences with daygame, which, to my understanding, means approaching women, which you said you don't do. Also, this is a public forum, if you can't take someone else commenting on what you write without having a tantrum and throwing kindergarten-level insults, then maybe send a DM to OP next time.

Of course, me calling out your bullshit means I'm not attractive, not calm and insecure. OK buddy. And a guy who literally looked almost like a male model isn't attractive at all according to you. Okay, sure. Women approaching men? It happens, of course, and I had it happen, but 1) it's rare, 2) no girl will literally yell at a man from several feet away (it's difficult for me to treat you seriously when you write stuff like that), and 3) this is pretty much off topic.

To be honest, I don't know if cold approach is more successful, and your numbers may be proof that it isn't, but I disagree that cold approach takes more time. My experience is this: In online dating you spend hours online, swiping, then sending messages that don't even get read, before you find a potential lead that could end with you talking to a girl IRL. In cold approach you skip all that and get to talking with the girl face to face straight away. Therefore, online game is more time consumi…

Oof, I feel that. BTW, I would seriously recommend that you think about doing some sort of combat sport. It's honestly underrated for PUA: not only will training that sort of stuff help you get in shape, but it will also help with your confidence, since you'll know you'll be able to defend yourself in case someone randomly gives you shit at a bar or something. I did Muay Thai for a couple of years and I'm training boxing now, and beginning combat sports training has been one of the best decision…

This is blatantly false. A girl approaching a guy first is something that rarely happens, so when you say "Let the DTF girls come to you", you're really just saying "stay alone forever". "The Game" is a very good read, but it's an entertaining story more than anything, and that's how you should treat it. For books on seduction, I suggest starting with "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka - it's short (only 17 pages), jargon-free and contains pretty much all of the basics... Plus it's available for free online, I think Janka himself made it publicly available, either way you will have zero problems finding it. Pre-lockdown, I would approach direct, and - unless I had something specific to say - I'd go with the following: "excuse me, this will be very forward, but I just saw you and I think you look quite pretty, so I want to meet you". After that I would extend my hand for a handshake and introduce myself. Then I might comment on what made me notice the girl at first, for example, her hair, or whatever else it was. That was part Reddit joke, and part comment on how whatever we believe usually does affect our reality. That's obviously a simplification, but... If you believe you won't get laid, then you won't.

Depends on what exactly you're looking for. A good "entry level" book on cold approach pickup is "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka. Short, jargon-free, contains pretty much all the basics, and is available online for free. But if you already did some reading and know some of the jargon, the ebook set called "Complete System" by 60 Years Of Challenge is what I would recommend. It's a lesser known author, but his stuff is brilliant, and the set deals with everything from approaching to relations…

I do direct game, I've read ~20 books on seduction, and the best ones were: • the "Complete System" series of ebooks by 60 Years Of Challenge (four ebooks, with the last one being on the topic of relationships), • "The Physical Game" by Osvaldo Pena Garcia aka RSD Ozzie. I cannot recommend those enough. I have to also mention Paul Janka, who wrote some good ones - "Getting Laid In NYC" is the only one I read in it's entirety I think, but I also took a look at "Attraction Formula" and "Closing", …

Read Paul Janka's "Getting Laid In NYC" - it's just 17 pages long, available online for free (I think Janka himself released it online), jargon-free and contains pretty much all of the basics. Of course, you might not be able to go out and talk to women now, but when things start returning to normal you should have an idea of what to do.

if only we could figure out what this "deviance" in social conditioning was That depends, among other things, on your upbringing, I suppose. We all start from different points and have different issues that we need help with. And that's what those resources you mentioned are for.

But why do we need manuals/advice/help? Why isn't any of this innate? I would like to point out that not only did I already answer that in the answer to point 3, but you sort of answered it yourself as well in your second question itself. It is innate. As you correctly noticed, as kids we have no problems interacting with strangers. But then... something happens.

There is none. I'm assuming you're talking about so called "approach anxiety" - this is believed to be hardwired into us, because in the caveman days, if you approached the wrong woman, another man might have smashed a brick on your head. So it's an obsolete self-preservation thing. A lot of this, however, is us actually getting excited about the prospect of going over to someone cute and talking to them, but misinterpreting the physical signs as fear, since the situation is alien to us - but th…

Because running up after a girl is not extreme and you know you could do it. Yes, there are situations that are suboptimal or that are actually better avoided, but what you have here... are just excuses. Here's a good quote from Paul Janka that might help you a bit: You are never “bothering” a girl by hitting on her. Remember that it’s your duty as a man to engage the opposite sex and initiate contact. Don’t get into thinking you’re being intrusive, she will let you know.

Many people who became boxers (and, in fact, many people who became good at anything) say the same thing, which can be summarised as "I wasn't better than anyone else, I just didn't quit". Anyway, you missed the point. If someone gives up on a martial art, that doesn't necessarily mean the martial art "doesn't work". It just means they gave up. And if someone gives up on the pickup arts before they see any results, that also doesn't mean "pickup doesn't work". It just means they gave up. And you…

What fucking estimation? How many people gave up? And what would that prove? There's a Muay Thai gym in my city. How many people came in that gym over the years? Probably hundreds, maybe thousands. How many became fighters? Not many. Is that because Muay Thai is bad for fighting? Or is that because many people gave up after one or two classes because they thought it's too physically demanding?

Cold approach pickup works. It changed my life. If someone is giving up before giving it an honest try - like you are doing, - that's not a problem with cold approach pickup, that's a problem with them. I don't think you're tired of dating - I think you're tired of long chats that lead nowhere. A possible solution is then to avoid long chats and try to get a girl out on a date as soon as possible (highly recommended), or to get off the dating apps and talk to women in real life (VERY highly recommended).

This answer will be simplifying the matter a bit, but... "Beta male" and "alpha male" are different sets of behaviours. Women treat men differently depending on which set of behaviours they exhibit. Therefore, if you're not having success with women, a good idea is to try behaving differently, doing some things differently - because you can't do the same thing constantly and expect it to suddenly bring a different result than always for no reason, that's madness. No, man. If it's exclusive, it's not thriving, because there aren't many people in it. Plus, you won't be let in. And if it's thriving, it's not exclusive. The latter is what you get here, in the seduction subreddit. First of all, many people will tell you not to try picking up women you work with, because you might get a bad reputation for yourself (for example). Secondly, this is social circle game - in social circle game you have be the social, fun, cool guy. "Social" means that you talk to everyone, introduce yourself to people as soon as you see them etc., so it's not weird when you go talk to some girl, because, well, you talk to everyone anyway. Just because a girl is giving off IOI doesn't mean you are warm approaching. You will never really know if a girl is interested UNTIL YOU APPROACH. Both of those sentences are 100% correct. 1) If you're approaching a complete stranger, that's a cold approach, regardless of whether or not you received an approach invitation. 2) Anyone who did at least a bit of cold approaching in their lives knows that you can't rely on IOIs. It's not dumb, you're just too dumb to see the point :) Regardless, cold approach IS worth the time. At this point, judging from what you write, I'm sure you don't practice it, and you seem like... Eh, I wanted to use an analogy, but you just won't get it again, so I'll write this straightforwardly: it looks you don't have the balls to do it, so you tell yourself that "it's not worth the time anyway" to make yourself feel better. But I do practice it, I know it is worth the time, and you're not …

Do you also think that saying that someone is "sweet like sugar" is also a bad analogy, because you don't use people to sweeten beverages...? And cold approaching is literally talking to women. Are you suggesting that it's beta if you don't get good results? Either way, you're wrong. Talking to women is not a "beta move", no matter how you spin it, and if someone would be only getting two numbers out of a 100 interactions, that's also not "beta", that just means there's something wrong in his ap…

The analogy holds, you're just not very smart. Talking about "your average job seeker" just proves this - maybe re-read what I wrote? Because that was exactly my point... Again: the "average job seeker" wants money, not being a millionaire, so talking them out of getting a job because "you won't be a millionaire" is stupid - and talking someone who wants more women in his life out of cold approaching because he won't get every girl is equally stupid. You get it now? See the equivalence? Or still…

It's not a "horrible analogy" if you just don't understand it. Or maybe you're biased because you don't agree with me. The analogy still stands. Here, I'll explain it to you: if someone wants money and wants to go to work to get money, and you tell them "don't go looking for a job, it's too much work and you're unlikely to become a millionaire", that's almost the same as telling someone who wants to find a lover "don't go talking to cute strangers, it's too much work and you're unlikely to becom…

Can you rephrase into English, please? If you mean that most people here don't practice cold approach pickup, you're right. Most people on this subreddit are like you - sit in front of their computer all day and complain that they're not getting laid. This is it, u/MaximusLazinus hit the nail on the head - I started learning game after I had a girl literally sitting on my lap and I didn't know what to do next. You think having more money in my wallet and focusing on my looks would be a fix to that? You have to be kidding.

How is "cold approaching hyped up" if we constantly get stupid threads like this that tell men not to do it? BTW, saying that "cold approach has a low success rate, don't do it, focus on your money" is almost exactly like saying "going to work is unlikely to make you a millionaire, so just stay unemployed and go lift instead, bro". I'm in Poland and I do streetgame. And I had many girls tell me that it's cool that there's still someone who does this. u/plganon already said it, but... That's not a cold approach. This would be social circle game, if anything - but it wasn't even that. It was just a failed attempt at small talk. If you're just asking for the basics of what to do, then do some reading. I think 60 Years Of Challenge is the only guy who really said anything new since then. The game doesn't change, because humans don't evolve that quick - technology is advancing, but that's about it. OP, you have repeatedly sent your results with Tinder to me, from different accounts, asking if I think your results are "bad, average or good" - now THAT is sad. I don't really understand the point you're trying to make. I personally am all for honesty, but saying that "techniques are lies" is... a weird perspective. For instance, there's this "technique" that 60 Years Of Challenge calls "milking the intro", which is essentially just not letting go of the girl's hand first when you're introducing yourself and shaking her hand. You let go only once you feel that she's starting to let go. Do you feel that's also dishonest? And what's dishonest about this? …

The problem is not that PUAs don't offer a uniform solution - a lot of what the decent PUAs say already overlaps anyway. The problem is that people EXPECT that uniform solution. People want a plug-and-play, ready-to-eat, one-size-fits-all solution that just works without having to tweak anything or tailor it to themselves and their own, unique personalities. The fuck, no. Acting like a beta provider is acting like a beta provider, no matter what your thought process about it is. I'd say - just keep doing what you're doing, it seems like it's working well, just escalate harder and try to get her horny when you're alone with her again. I had to do around 200 approaches, tweaking elements of my approach along the way, before I started getting results from cold approach. Yep, I'm 33 and have noticed that picking up women became a bit easier after I turned 30. The age range of women who'd go on a date with me is also broader now: the last two new chicks I went on a date with were 20 years old and 30 years old. There are probably multiple reasons for that, including the fact that some younger chicks are turned on by the age difference, and the fact that some women seem to automatically reject younger men due to their age alone...

I hope you'll keep going out and practicing talking to girls, so you can avoid fucking up easy situations like these in the future. Oh, and don't keep going until you get a number or whatever... Just keep going. And don't just make the first girl you meet your girlfriend, that's a mistake - …

Last year I started approaching girls on the streets and asking them how they would rate me on a scale of 1 to 10. Once I felt attractive enough and got comfortable with talking to cute strangers and putting myself on the line, I started to approach girls with the intent of picking them up. I now have a FWB and I'm going on two first dates with two different girls in the next two days. So you might want to try doing what I did - you will learn if you're attractive, and you will get some girls. I…

Incredibly well thought out title. Also, if you're looking to meet people on the internet, you're on the wrong subreddit.

Yes, they're worth going after, because my experience is that 1) most girls won't show that they're interested until AFTER you approach them and show interest yourself, and 2) many times I have approached women who seemed to be checking me out, and they turned out to not be interested, so I wouldn't rely on approach invitations too much... I don't have specific stats on this, but the success rate seems more or less the same for the reasons above.

Streetgame is a game of meters and seconds. It helps to have a default opener you'll fall back on if nothing else pops to mind. And in time, if you keep going, you'll be proud to find that your reaction times have improved (which is mostly to do with the fact that you'll be hesitating less). And I highly recommend stopping girls, "killing their momentum", as opposed to walking alongside them. I understand you might not feel confident to do that yet, but you'll get there, and it works well. Keep …

I suggest making your intentions clear from the start. Although that depends on the context of the interaction, and based on what you wrote I don't know if you're doing social circle game, or cold approach... Or how your approach even looks like...
/r/seduction30/01/20 08:40 PM

Good first approach. To answer your question, 90% of my game takes place on the street. Streets that are close to malls get the most foot traffic (at least where I live), so those are best. I did, however, also approach girls in: malls, buses, bus stops, trains, train stations...
/r/seduction30/01/20 08:35 PM

In that case, I still don't know what your intention was behind postimg this.

I have never been outside of Europe, so I don't know how it is elsewhere, but it's funny to me how often I see Europeans talking about how pickup is much easier in the US, and Americans talking about how much easier it is in Europe. From what I can tell, people are more or less the same everywhere in the world, but mentalities (and reactions of girls) can be different from city to city in the same country - so generalising entire countries, let alone entire continents, doesn't make much sense.

I am in Europe. A bit confused what your intention here is.

Yeah, I can imagine Instagram working in your favour if you have a lot of followers and a "pimped out insta", but if you don't have that, it's better to go for the phone number.

I was trying to figure out what your "dress like shit, doesn't matter" thing was supposed to mean. It's not peak eloquence. And in my experience looks matter so little that it's not even worth discussing. The more I go out and the wider I open my eyes, the more I think it's true. Grooming, clothes, hair - that matters. The shape of your jawline, not so much.
/r/seduction29/01/20 06:24 PM

I just noticed you frequent incel subreddits, so by "dress like shit, doesn't matter" do you mean "I dress like shit and get no girls"?

You say "face is better" but then talk about muscle mass, which is something else. Anyway, if we're talking about what actually gets results, I think looks are highly overrated.

Instagram has never lead me anywhere. I suggest taking a phone number instead. Also, call instead of texting - I have a better conversion rate when calling to set up the date.

Sounds like a very basic question. If you haven't yet, read something on the subject of seduction (look at the sidebar perhaps, although I personally suggest reading "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka), and then get out of the house and put theory into practice.
/r/seduction29/01/20 01:20 PM

Well, yeah, being dressed in nice and fitting clothes is important. Much more important than having a handsome face, as you seem to have correctly observed. I think "always try to look your best" (meaning clothes, hair, grooming in general) is the first thing that should be taught to people interested in cold approach pickup.

I've seen your nickname before and, without checking your post history now, I get a feeling like you asked this question once every few months. I may be wrong here... Can you elaborate? What are "garbage verbals" and why do you "like using verbals congruent with your masculine frame" if verbals don't matter? And what do you even mean by that?

has something better come up and she's trying to leverage a cancel? If that's the first thing that pops up in your mind, that's a sign of poor inner game. Maybe she just wants to confirm, don't sweat it.
/r/seduction27/01/20 05:42 PM

Verbal game does kinda matter. While I love the idea that what you say doesn't really matter, my real life experience with game doesn't exactly support it. And even if we assume physical game is more important (which I think is true), you still initiate conversations using verbal game, so there's that at the bare minimum. And then there's the fact that it's our duty as men to keep the conversation going, so at the very least we have to have some verbals.

What are you trying to achieve? And - correct me if I'm wrong - but judging from what you're writing, you're not actually living a life of abundance of women... I don't think you can do that in a "socially acceptable" manner. You can (and should) be polite, but socially acceptable? Hell, this stuff isn't accepted in the PUA community that much, let alone mainstream society! And I have never found any infields with this sort of stuff, so I'm afraid the best you can get is the "Mode One Hardcore" book, and simple trial and error in the field to figure out the rest on your own.

You don't understand - as a man, it's your responsibility to move things forward. Being a leader is an attractive quality. That's why you have to "make shit happen". Also, I have went on a date and made out with a girl who's first word to me was "no" - it's not all as black and white as you think... Lemme chime in again. I always thought looks matter, but much less than people think. The more I go out and practice cold approach pickup, and the wider I open my eyes, the more I'm starting to think, however, that looks matter so little (if at all) that it's not even a topic worth talking about. Grooming matters, yes. Your style, fitting clothes, facial hair... But not your jawline or whatever. And even if it did, what would you do about it? Nothing. You work with what you got anyway. You don't need to send a reminder. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. You can just arrive at the specified time and place, especially if you met the girl through cold approach - because in that case, you probably made enough of an impact already and there's a high chance that she'll be there unprompted. If I do decide to send such a reminder, I do it a couple of hours before the date, and I tell the girl how I want her to dress for the date (for example, "dress casually, so that you're comfortab…

I started with "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka and I recommend you do too. Of course, you don't HAVE to, but it's just 17 pages or so, and you'll get pretty much all of the basics. I've approached probably 50-100 girls by now and I've only gotten three phone numbers which really didn't lead to anything. Looks like a low hitrate, but I had to do probably over 200 and tweak my approach before I started seeing results. Keep going. Also, in the words of Paul Janka: NEVER ASK IF SHE’S SINGLE. My approaches are usually very short - an initial interaction can be as long as one hour, but you could easily count the duration of my typical approach in seconds. I'm 173 cm short. Two of the three new girls I hooked up with last year were taller than me - 183 cm and 177 cm tall. The first of those two told me something interesting: she usually avoids guys who are shorter than her, but only because they are very clearly and visibly uncomfortable around her. But I didn't care about the height difference, so neither did she. But if you're saying that you're not acting weird (for lack of a better term) around tall girls, then... The only two situations that brought me real life results from Tinder were the following: The girl messages first (at which point it seems you can say whatever, the girl's invested already anyway). I message first and I mention something that's in her bio or pictures and tease her about it. I think he explains it well himself in his book "The Rules Of David X" and in the multiple seminars that you can find online. It's mostly about evolving into the kind of person you like, and then just loving yourself and doing what's best for you. You're not getting in relationships to make women happy, you do what you want on your terms or it's "goodbye".
/r/seduction10/01/20 06:01 PM

And I'm just saying you don't need the stuff to have the same freedom and the same results :) Sure, it's nice to have, but unless you're looking to be a sugar daddy, you don't need the finances and the stuff.

Of course. The guy had long term relationships. AFAIK some of them only failed because the guy would cheat. That's a different subject though. Because the girls are attracted to him, not his cash, not anything else. And he doesn't need anything external to be the confident motherfucker he is. And, I mean, if you're getting good results while basing your self worth on your belongings, cool, I'm just saying you don't need that shit to get those results - as you said yourself, ultimately the girls …
/r/seduction10/01/20 05:37 PM

Nah, man. One of the strongest naturals I know is unfuckwithable regardless of the fact that he doesn't own a house, a car or other things like that. He just believes in himself. He doesn't need external stuff to prove his worth. If someone would take away your stuff, they'd take away your confidence. Now that's faking confidence.
/r/seduction10/01/20 05:28 PM
1

And here we get back to the part where I said "I'd like to point out that it doesn't seem like a good idea to base your confidence on external stuff, like having a nice car and a house." And I'll repeat again: you don't need the stuff. You need the confidence. If you base your confidence on your stuff, that's like a crutch.
/r/seduction10/01/20 05:22 PM
1

And that chick had never seen my car or house. It was completely the way i carried myself. Yeah, that's kinda my point. You don't need the stuff. The stuff might be nice, but that's not what is attracting the women. Like in the example you just gave: it sounds like you had preselection, and that's what helped. Not the "nice things".
/r/seduction10/01/20 05:16 PM

Ahaha, okay. Let me change my wording then: it's improbable that a woman will magically appear and just fall on your lap one day :) And if you're suggesting you need "stuff" to be a high value male, then no, I don't believe you do. I'm sure looking rich helps with some women, though.
/r/seduction10/01/20 05:06 PM

Of course you have to approach Yup. But, just like that, you contradicted your previous advice of "focus on your shit and women will come". It’s our duty as men to engage the opposite sex and initiate contact. Women won't just come. No woman will magically appear on your lap one day. When we acknowledge that, your advice becomes the correct answer. However, I'd like to point out that it doesn't seem like a good idea to base your confidence on external stuff, like having a nice car and a house.

I'm conflicted, man. I'm 33 and yes, I noticed it got slightly easier as I turned 30. But you seem to be advising to just passively wait, and dude, "focus on your shit and women will come" is just bullshit advice. One of the most basic things in man-to-woman interactions is that, as a man, you don't just passively wait, because nothing will come.

If, as you said, you want to establish if you actually like her as a person, wouldn't you want to do that during the initial approach? What in God's name do you even have to do that you can't recover later? I'm serious, I've taken my dick out on dates when I got the girl to my place and we were making out heavy, but she was still resisting - and that was always at least recoverable, so how uncalibrated and out of context do your actions have to be that you can't recover later? I really want to know. And no, you can't "always escalate later", that's, like, the most basic thing in game: the window of opportunity with girls closes…
/r/seduction07/01/20 05:53 AM

It's not escalation that is the issue here. Escalation is necessary to get anywhere. The issue is going past what the girl is comfortable with. That's why I check in with the girl after making a bolder move. For example, I'll plant my hand on her leg, and a moment later I'll ask: "by the way, are you comfortable with my hand being here?" - if she is, the hand stays and I'll escalate further in a while. If she isn't, I pull back and take my hand away. I took this "technique" from a natural I know…

We have different experiences in that case. My way of going about dates hasn't failed me since October.
/r/seduction07/01/20 01:23 AM

You're not getting it. If I don't get physical with the girl on the first date (for example, because I didn't escalate), there will be no second date. Sometimes, because I don't want to see her again. But, most likely, the girl will ghost, or just text me something along the lines of "we're not going to be seeing each other". If I do escalate and we make out, there will usually be a second date and more. What you're suggesting is ass backwards.
/r/seduction07/01/20 01:03 AM

why would there be no second date if you didn't get physical That wouldn't be my choice. But yeah, I don't do first dates at my place - and in cases when I did have a girl over at my place for the first date (back when I was still using Tinder and online dating sites), it was because it was clear that we're banging.

She replies but looks a little bit weirded out about why a stranger is talking to her. (this isn't the US) It's not that it's not the US, in my experience, this is simply what usually happens when you use Mystery Method and all those routines. This is a normal reaction to this sort of approach. The basics of Mystery Method work (at least to an extent), but most of the routines will just weird girls the fuck out. Maybe if you're a good liar they won't. Otherwise you just look incongruent and, at …

Dude. Okay, let me spell it out for you, hopefully it will be clear now. Yes, it was answered, by contrasting cafes and bars - "they're quite brightly lit, they're not particularily sexy places". That's about cafe's. So, by contrast, bars have enticing, dim lighting and are sexy. A much better place to get comfortable and physical with a girl. I personally don't go to bars, but the bar is my go-to place for first dates. So pretty much the only situation when I'm at a bar is when I bring a girl t…

chances are, you escalated too quickly. I'd think the opposite. If you're not getting physical with a girl on the first date, then there will be no second date - that is my experience. What you're suggesting here is "playing to not lose" rather than "playing to win".
/r/seduction06/01/20 10:41 PM

Wasn't that already answered in the video I linked?

You could. Do you actually talk to girls, bro? Because if you did, you'd know that the scenario you're writing about here is not a big deal, and you wouldn't ask that two times in a row like an autist or something.
/r/seduction06/01/20 10:32 PM

Or, you could... You know... Be normal and tell her you don't drink? Like "I don't drink alcohol, but I know this pub that has a great, chill atmosphere and I like to go there" or something, if you have to sell it somehow.

What you're suggesting is not "skipping game", it's direct game. Although normally you wouldn't open and close within one sentence, plus I don't suggest inviting girls for dinner - watch this 40 second video to know why and what to do instead. Honestly, I could write a whole bunch here, but the best solution for you is to go out, talk to girls yourself and figure out in practice what works for you.
/r/seduction06/01/20 09:19 PM

You have some misconceptions going on there. For one, just the fact that you are contrasting "direct game" and "conversational route" (whatever that is in your mind) shows that you don't quite get it. Direct game does not mean opening and closing within a single sentence. You can do that, sure, but usually there will be some conversation involved regardless of whether you do direct or indirect game. The difference between direct and indirect is whether or not you tell the girl right away that yo…

Anywhere. Well, anywhere that actually has people there. I did approaches in malls, on buses, bus stops, trains, train stations, in clubs... But my favorite is approaching girls in the streets. You're in a great position - since you're in a new city, you can just go out and be like "hey, I just moved here, where is a good coffee/hot dog/whatever place around here?" and start conversations that way. Although, if you're looking for a romantic or sexual partner, I would advise to use the direct app…

Cool beans, but how did the approach look like, and did you call or text her afterwards?
/r/seduction05/01/20 06:35 PM

Dude, what. It's interesting, because I learned that you DON'T have to be perfect - just good enough is good enough. Also, excuse me, surgery? I'm guessing you're one of the guys who think looks are the be-all and end-all of man to woman relations, and you're suggesting cosmetic surgery?
/r/seduction05/01/20 12:44 PM

I think the only situations where I got a girl scared were when: I popped up in the girl's visual field late - just before the approach - and got too close to her, so it's like I just popped up out of nowhere and ended up RIGHT in front of her. I did my approach from behind, after dark, and started with a touch on the shoulder I think. Try to see if the situations where you get girls scared are similar to those, and if so, you know what to correct.
/r/seduction05/01/20 12:38 PM

I get it - calling is something my mom suggested when she heard I'm having trouble getting dates with the girls I meet, and I also thought "yeah, but nowadays it's all about texting and apps, this is the done thing!" But, guess what - I gave it a try anyway and my results skyrocketed. And this is the kind of attitude I suggest you incorporate as well - don't just assume something's not gonna work, instead, try various things out in practice, keep what works for you, and discard what doesn't.

Okay, so first, a few excerpts from Paul Janka's "Attraction Formula": Though it’s the most obvious point, many guys don’t quite get it: if you don’t get her phone number you have nothing. Let me repeat that: if you don’t get her phone number you have nothing. I'll just add that my personal experience is that Facebook or Instagram lead nowhere good, unless you're looking for a platonic friend. When later he appeared as a topic of conversation at a club and people were talking how he pulls girls consistently, she explicitly said that she personally does not find him attractive at all. Later, however, she messaged him and asked him if he'd like a threesome. LOL. I also remember a girl he approached on the street on New Years Eve once, and she didn't look ov…

I know what I'm about to say is not a "popular" thing, but it's true - if you "can’t look at her the same way or lose a major amount interest" because a woman has a lot of sexual experience, that is like a psychological disability. Night gaming itself is less secured but requires way less investment. Wut? Night game requires more investment, I think. Even financial - although I know this is probably not the kind of investment you meant, but think about it: you have to pay to even get in.

You're not "on the downhill". AFAIK the male sexual prime being 18-21 is a myth that came from a misinterpretation of data, namely: people were asked "What is the maximum number of orgasms you have in a given week?" and it turned out that men have the most orgasms between the ages of 18 and 21. So that must be the male sexual prime then, right? Well, no. Men between the ages of 18 and 21 have the most orgasms just because they masturbate a lot. In reality, the golden period for men is after they…

You say that as if I wasn't straightforward in my approach. The text is a heads-up, so the girl can expect the phone call, and so she still has time to text me before I call in case it's not convenient for her to talk at that time. At this point you know exactly what I'm doing, why, and what results that gets me - but you still haven't answered or explained anything, so unless you want to reciprocate and be as straightforward and open with talking about your methods and results as I am, then I'm…

You seem very judgemental, and keep saying the same thing without providing any sort of argument or explanation as to why you think so. Truly amazing. Regardless, I was getting two dates out of ten numbers before, and since I started using the combo of heads-up text and phonecall, I'm getting five dates out of ten numbers, and got two lays out of those five dates. Seems decent to me, assuming I will be able to keep getting similar results consistently. However, if you have a method that gets you…

Okay, it seems I misinterpreted your comment. But you seem to be misinterpreting this entire interaction, because I don't see what's creepy to you here. Thanks, man! I stopped counting my approaches very quickly, so I don't know exactly, but I estimate that this was after my 200th approach. On average that would mean I'm currently getting one lay per 100 approaches, which is more or less what is expected from a newbie.

There were only two situations that lead to real life results for me when using Tinder: Girl messages first (in which case I usually started to set up a meeting right away). I message first, mention something in the girl's pics and/or bio and tease her about it. The "do you like bread?" two part line that was popular some time ago also got me in some interesting conversations, and one girl I opened like that even ended up at my place, but neither a makeout nor lay ensued. There is truth to this. Our thoughts create our reality. But just thinking about it won't help. You have to also take the right action. Also, u/MidwestDaygame posted an interesting quote on his blog some time ago, that happens to be relevant here: "Progress is not an illusion; it happens, but it is slow and invariably disappointing" - I don't agree with the "disappointing" part, but the "slow" part is correct, and you shouldn't expect to get from zero to "master pick up artist" in a fortnight. I suggest you read "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka for a start - there are other good resources out there, but this one is short, contains pretty much all of the basics, and it's jargon-free. If girls in their 20's are what you'd describe as "older", then you might just be correct. And look, I get it, I also thought that texting is "the done thing" nowadays and that calling would not have a positive impact on my results, but I tried it and whoop-te-doo, it did. The age of the girl doesn't seem to change anything, but maybe my sample is still too small. Three numbers out of four approaches is really good. Only four approaches in a few days - less so, but if you're getting some action out of that, then that's enough, obviously. Well, usually "to close" is used to mean "to end an interaction by gaining a woman’s contact information", hence my confusion, but yeah, "closing" can also mean "setting up a date". And what I usually do is, when getting the girl's number, I tell her I will call her the next day, and on the next day I send a text before calling: "Hey <name>, I will call you in five minutes, prepare mentally".
/r/seduction25/11/19 10:15 AM

Not sure I understand what you're saying exactly when you're talking about "closing with a phone call". I think you mean "setting up a date" rather than "closing", in which case we agree. Also, something tells me you're talking about this in the context of online game. Here's a gold nugget of wisdom from Paul Janka: You are never “bothering” a girl by hitting on her. Remember that it’s your duty as a man to engage the opposite sex and initiate contact. Don’t get into thinking you’re being intrusive, she will let you know. In other words, yes, don't just passively wait for signals, make like a caveman and go for what you want. As far as your "other question" is concerned, yes, I believe you could still go for that, but I don't really have enough experience with…

Yes, it's possible. In fact, only approaching after you get an approach invitation is called "lazy game". Success rate seems the same. Some girls will only start showing IOIs after you approach. It's a a new hurdle to overcome - approaching women when you already have one in your life, and when that little voice in your head tells you that you don't need to do that anymore. You're in an open relationship. That means that you're in a very priviledged position now. Think about it and realise this: you're with a girl who's okay with you approaching other girls. Go ahead and take advantage of the situation you're in.

My friend, I feel like you're overthinking this. Anyway, if a direct approach scares you so much, start by walking up to a stranger and just saying hi. And when that's not a problem anymore, take another step further. I think you get it by now. Baby steps. And yeah, I'm not answering the question about the worst blow-out, because that's n…

Yes, but I wouldn't call those "cold approaches". A cold approach is when you're meeting someone you have no social connection with. If you're both going to the same school/work/church/whatever, that's your social connection - therefore, it's not a cold approach and slightly different rules apply.

Eh, not really. Most chicks I've seen on Tinder were rather cute. And I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a "woman who can't get laid without the aid of Tinder". I think what you're saying applies more to the less popular dating apps and sites. With that said, I uninstalled Tinder today. It just dried up for me, and besides, I'm all about that cold approach nowadays.

It's not easy to find, but I found it some time ago: if you're on the mobile app, tap the three dots in the top right corner when on the main subreddit page, then choose "Community info", and there you are. Edit: Not sure how to find it on desktop. Dear mods, if you could give us some directions, it would be appreciated.

But rejections won't be like this "Oh you are such a wonderful beautiful man but I'm not ready to date at the moment. But I'm sure you will find the love of your life soon~~ have a lovely wonderful day" A lot are like this. Not in the exact words you used, but I've had plenty where the woman would go "I have a husband, but keep going, good luck!", and one even launched into a monologue about how she has a boyfriend and is ultimately not interested, but she wants me to keep doing what I'm doing, …

Yo, hold up, so... ONE girl, who you know from somewhere, asked you not to touch her... And your reaction to that is to say that you're "sick of this kino shit", that it "doesn't fucking work" for you, that you're "sick of women"... That doesn't sound like girls freaking out when you touch them, that sounds like YOU freaking out and overreacting to a perceived negative response.

No, you'll have to fix your physical game. "Kino escalation" is probably the single most important aspect of game. You can't seduce a woman without touching her. I don't even know how you imagine it working otherwise. Going straight from zero touching to fucking? Or what is the idea here? This is a serious question. And, again, what exactly are you doing right now that is freaking girls out so much?

It is expected that a woman will behave at first like what you described - the moment she starts asking you questions about you is called the "hook point". Sometimes the hook point can be reached immediately as you start talking with a girl. Other times, it might take a while of you talking and throwing banter at the girl for her to hook. But I've also had situations where I get a girl's number, go on a date with her, and she only hooks at the date, the moment she sits down with me.

I'm not a big fan of Mystery - did he ever actually say that? Wasn't his approach-to-lay ratio something like 50 to 1? But if he did actually say that and mean it, and people believed that, well, again - I would classify that as another case of weak minds falling for grandiose claims.

By 'seduction' I mean actually 'seducing' someone. (Not a girl who thinks you're handsome as is the case in every infield or LR i've ever read). I think the problem is that people seem to misdefine "seduction". "Seduction is not making someone do what they don't want to do; seduction is enticing someone into doing what they secretly want to do already". I started learning PUA stuff in 2010 and this was always the case. I don't know how some people managed to get the idea of seduction warped into…

I thought of cock and ball torture first as well. On a serious note, I see this trend on Reddit recently to use very niche acronyms and just EXPECT everyone to know what they mean, especially if the acronym has multiple meanings and the commenter doesn't use the most common one (like here), and it just irks me so bad.

Yep, I do direct game almost exclusively and IT DOES WORK, so when a mod on here says Another common problem is that a lot of guys think that it's a great thing to open with some variation of telling the girl that she's cute. then I... don't even know how to comment on that with a straight face, and without making unflattering assumptions about the experience and expertise of the person who wrote that... :)

Yeah, this post is in direct opposition to what this subreddit stands for (or what I thought it stood for) and the fact that it's here at all and not removed is shameful, especially since I see a lot of posts by guys looking to discuss certain topics related to this pickup game ARE being removed recently. The fact that a post like this, that offers no useful advice and tries to discourage men from approaching women, got any upvotes at all, on r/seduction out of all places, just makes me sad.

Not gonna lie, I didn't read all of it - it was enough to see that you only tried online dating. Therefore, I have good news for you: there is a way out. It's called "cold approach pickup". Online dating seems like the easiest way to get girls, but it's very time consuming and disheartening for the average man - as you have found out yourself already. Approaching cute strangers on the streets (or wherever you can find them) seems harder, but that's mostly because of the internal struggle with yo…

Well, you already made your move and she said no, so that's a wrap. The only way to go now that I can think of is to go talk to other chicks and get good with women in general. When the girl sees you with other girls, sees that you changed into an attractive man, then she might get interested, but, one, that might take years, and two, by then you will see she's not that special and will probably not care anymore.

A good rule of thumb is: anything important that you have to say, you say in person. Asking a girl out via text, or handing her a piece of paper with the question on it, or whatever else like that, is just weak. It just looks like you didn't have the balls to say it, so you chose to write it down, since that way's easier.

I believe that men's SMV (sexual market value) peaks when we're in our 30's, at least assuming the man in question is relatively fit and well groomed - my personal, anecdotal evidence supports that belief. Theory aside, some chicks get off on the idea of banging a much older dude, and other chicks don't believe younger men have much to offer, so they auto-reject them on principle. Whatever the case may be, getting chicks became a bit easier when I turned 30.

You write about texting, but I see you mean online game. Writing with a girl on an online dating app and texting a girl you met via cold approach are not exactly the same subject, I feel. Never used an app that forced the woman to message first. On Tinder, if the girl messaged first, that meant that her interest is so high that you can essentially write anything. In fact, the only two scenarios that brought me real life results on Tinder were the following: a) girl writes first, b) I write first…

I mention this every time this topic comes up, but here we go again: I'm 173 cm tall and I hooked up with a chick 10 cm taller than me earlier this year. She told me she usually avoids shorter guys, simply because they are visibly uncomfortable around her, but I didn't care about the height difference, so neither did she. And currently I'm seeing a girl a couple centimetres taller than me. Worth adding, that the strongest natural I know is about my height as well, and chicks chase him.

Of course, but having a bigger dick won't change that. For one, do you think chicks will just see it in your eyes that you have a big dick? Even if we assume they would, guess what? If she isn't attracted, then the size of your schlong also doesn't matter. Besides, not every chick wants a monster sized cock. You'd think that being fat or ugly is an issue, but it really isn't. Once upon a time I had a one night stand with a fat chick, and she told me she had surprisingly good results just by being straightforward. She'd do something similar to the "Apocalypse Opener". Success ensued.

I think you sort of have it backwards. The best relationships I had started with either sex on the first date, or a kiss before we even said hello to each other IRL. Those were relationships that started with a physical attraction, where we enjoyed sex with each other first, and only afterwards, as we got to know each other better, realised that we actually like each other outside of a purely sexual context as well. The worst, most miserable relationship I had was one where we dated for months b…

I had similar experiences with texting, so I switched to calling girls on the phone instead - results got much better. As far as approaching, it's not really fear that you are feeling, but anyway, this weird thing is what helped me to finally get over "approach anxiety" (or, at the very least, have it under control to a satisfactory extent). Not sure what this is supposed to teach, to be honest. In a streetgame scenario, sometimes you WON'T know she's interested until you approach. So that's one context where "if she's interested, you'll know" does NOT apply, and I can easily think of more examples like that. And on Tinder, my experience is that if the girl messages you first, you can write pretty much ANYTHING to her afterwards and still at least get her out on a date - she's already sold anyway. So, again, nothing to learn here.

You're not wrong, but I'd still hazard a guess that 90% of people here don't really approach much - or at all. There was a thread here a few months ago, I think, where someone asked people about their experiences with approaching. Almost all responses were something like "I don't approach in person... But I swipe on Tinder every day!" and it was just the most ridiculous thing to see.

I have similar feelings. Nightgame doesn't give me anxiety, but the approach I use while streetgaming, which has brought me some success already in that context, doesn't really work in a nightclub environment. Going out tonight again, maybe I'll figure something out, wish me luck.

Obviously you won't get a girl just because you shower regularly. Doesn't make it bad advice. "Just be yourself" is at the same time the best and the worst piece of advice out there. It's the worst, because it's usually given with no other explanation, and, well, what the fuck does that even mean? Is it implying that you're trying to be someone else all the time? Not sure what's not to like about talking to women, let alone flirting with them. And yes, I know what you'll say, "men don't flirt for fun as much as women". That just means that men don't usually flirt with someone if they don't have any romantic or sexual interest in that person, NOT that men dislike flirting altogether. Look up "How To Flirt With Girls" by Tom Torero, it contains specific examples of, well, how to flirt with girls.
/r/seduction01/11/19 04:29 PM

What exactly are you arguing? That if your SMV is so low that you're essentially undatable, then the fact that men's SMV is, in general, the highest in their 30's, automatically becomes invalid? And... If something's "normie advice" (whatever that means) then it's wrong and you won't take care of your hygiene to spite normies? Bruh.

Nah, man, YOU don't like to flirt, and that's part of your problem, I'd say. You can try to make it seem "normal" and tell yourself that everyone is like that, but how does that help you? It only helps you to convince yourself that "I'm alright the way I am and I don't need to change anything". But then your results with women won't change either. Also, just the fact that we practice cold approach pickup puts us outside of the norm, so forget what's "normal" and what the average chode does. Unle…

I'd say that "too nice" is when you're always nice and only nice. When there's no other "spice" to your personality. It's when you filter yourself, because something you have to say MIGHT be offensive to someone. When you don't tease your friend about something silly they said, because you're afraid of saying anything to them that isn't 100% "nice". When someone does something to you that could be seen as out of line, but you don't punish them in any way for that, not even by simply saying "hey,…

Also, insert sexual joke about "hardest thing" here.

Yes, you can turn around and run after her. Probably most of my approaches look like that, except I don't exactly approach the girl from the side - instead, as I'm to her side I overtake her and extend my hand in her direction, while circling myself into position in front of her, and then I stop, feet firmly planted, squared up in front of her, with my hand low in front of me, palm towards her, signalling to stop. Honestly, I think you're doing VERY well. You're doing many approaches, and you achieved what seems to be a decent (for a beginner, of course) approach to lay ratio. Congratulate yourself on that. I've had trouble getting second dates as well, even with girls who, by the end of the first date, strongly suggested that they want to see me again. Maybe there's an explanation for that, but so far it just seems that girls are flaky like that...

So, since I've had sex on the first date a number of times, then that means I'm in the top 10% of men? Gee, thanks! Although I actually believe it's about something else. Men are either r-selected or K-selected. Women place men in one of those two categories, and apply different rules to men depending on how they categorised them. That's why a woman will have sex with an r-selected male without even having a proper date with him, while she will shame a K-selected male for even suggesting the sam…

I've had a... somewhat similar experience with texting, so I started calling girls instead. My results skyrocketed. I already wrote a comment about this a while back, but to reiterate shortly: when I got contact details (number or Facebook) from ten chicks and only texted with them, only two of those ten chicks ended up going on a date with me; but when I got numbers from another ten chicks and called them instead, I got five dates out of that. THAT'S when I found gold. It was in those moments that I finally found a girl who was instantly flirty and into me, or a girl who was almost shouting "I DON'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" at me... So whenever shit gets hard, I have that reference point that tells me not to give up and do t…

Various, but when going out to pick up chicks I like to listen to "Love Is Lies" by Buzzcocks, it motivates me and the lyrics start like this: Well I'm going out I'm gonna find myself a lover I'm gonna look until I drop I'll never stop I won't give up in any way Shape or form

Alright, so I approach direct, and unless I have something specific to say I go with the following: "excuse me, this will be very forward, but I just saw you and I think you look quite pretty, so I want to meet you". After that I might comment on what made me notice the girl at first, for example, her hair. After that, I do what's called a "cold read" - instead of asking the girl interview questions ("what do you do, how old are you", etc.), I make observations about her and try to make guesses.…

I don't think u/rich_god meant that you shouldn't talk about stuff that's interesting. Rather, he meant that you shouldn't try to get the girl interested in you - get her excited instead. To add to that, some related thoughts that came to my mind: 1) don't talk too much (talking the girl to death is the easiest way to bore a girl who already knows she wants to fuck, and make her change her mind), 2) add emotional spikes (teasing, accusing her of being "naughty" and framing her as sexual, etc.). …

Hey man, I'm also 33 and started taking massive action this year, after years of mostly just reading about pickup and learning theory. Have you ever heard of Nick Krauser? The guy is a legend of daygame and he started at 34. It's not too late, let's go, and if you want to exchange experiences with someone the same age and on the same path, feel free to message me.

I guess I see your point. I stopped counting my approaches very quickly, and this was just a few weeks ago, so must have already been over 200. Not the best lay to approach ratio, but I'm seeing a second girl now, and if I bang her, then that would make my ratio 1 lay for every 100 approaches, which AFAIK is more or less what is expected from a beginner.

Okay, I'm in a similar situation. That sounds very much like my experience as well. At one point the emotional pain that came from missing chances with cute strangers became so great, that the fear of feeling that pain and regret again became worse than the fear of whatever might happen if I approach (although that so called "approach anxiety" isn't really fear anyway, fear is a different feeling). There were other factors that helped me to finally start taking massive action after years of dabbling in the subject, but those are…

You definitely can try the "extremely sexual" route in daygame. I'm personally not that extreme, but I have noticed that girls react better to the opener of "you look sexy, so I want to meet you" than to something like "you look interesting, so I wanted to see who is this person". There's one girl who I'm banging right now, who I met through daygame, and during our first interaction I told her that she looks like an exhibitionist in the coat she's wearing. If you need assistance with some banter/flirting, "How To Flirt With Girls" by Tom Torero can be a valuable resource for you. On squaring up... I definitely try to do that, but my mate who I go out daygaming with doesn't pay attention to that. He took a bootcamp once and, when I brought to his attention that he often stands at an angle when talking to girls, he reached out to the guy who taught him and asked about it. The guy said that squaring up helps with holding eye contact, but that's it.

I'd say that seduction is simple - not easy, but simple. Some PUA systems make it more complex than it needs to be. Yes, there's a lot of theory involved, various mindsets, but 90% of what you need is covered in the following: Always try to look your best (and take care of your hygiene!). Get out of the house and talk to women. Hold strong eye contact. Touch the woman you're talking to and try to progress from casual touching to something more seductive or romantic. Do not passively wait for sig…

/r/seduction19/10/19 10:46 PM

What the fuck. 1) This is not a cold approach. Developing relationships within your social circle is different from developing relationships via cold approach. You don't open in the same way in those two different contexts. 2) You printed something out AN HOUR EARLIER and then you say you weren't creeping. Pick one. I don't want to criticise you too much, but you played the wrong game, showed yourself as weird, and, well, this is what happens.
/r/seduction19/10/19 10:43 PM

I know that feeling very well. As long as you do your approaches in a well lit area, you should be fine. And, of course, you don't want to follow the girl around for a long time, that could creep anyone out. You shouldn't do that in the daytime either, but during the day it can be excusable, during the night - not so much. 3 second rule? Screw that, you want to follow the 0 second rule.

This is the correct answer. Just to add a concrete example to this: I'm 173 cm tall (or... 173 cm short? lol) and I've had some fun earlier this year with a girl 10 cm taller than me. She later told me she usually avoids guys who are shorter than her, simply because they are evidently uncomfortable around her, but I didn't care about the height difference, so neither did she.

I'm afraid we can't walk you through it. You have to do the legwork yourself. Read a book on the subject, that will give you an idea of what to do - I personally always suggest starting with "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka, as it's short and contains pretty much all of the basics. Then go out, practice what you've just read, and figure out yourself what works for you (because it can be different for different people).

"Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka. It's short and covers pretty much all the basics. It was the first book on cold approach pickup that I've read back in 2010 and it's still the biggest influence on my game.

This is what we call "oneitis". You don't even know the girl. You don't love her, you love a fantasy of what she's like. And you wouldn't feel thay way if you had an abundance of girls to choose from.
/r/seduction15/10/19 07:53 PM

Perhaps she is. So what. As a polyamorous dude, I guess I don't see it the way you do. Either way, the answer is the same: chill and go talk to other girls.
/r/seduction15/10/19 04:51 PM

Be straightforward AND learn how to flirt is the combo I'd suggest. On flirting, Paul Janka wrote something like: "keep it light and mildly combative". Tom Torero has a good book on flirting as well, with specific lines you can use.

All street game. I'd hesitate calling this daygame, since a lot of my approaches take place after dark. This is probably also the reason why I don't have that many instant dates: if it's 10 PM, the girl is either already on her way to get a beer with someone, or she just finished work and now just wants to go home after a long day. The logistics for an instant date simply aren't there. Most of my interactions are very short - either because the girl isn't interested, or because she's in a hurry …

If you have zero experience with women, then I don't think I would recommend attempting to pick up a woman you work with - you can, sure, but your reputation might suffer if this goes south, think about that... I recommend experimenting with flirting and male-to-female interactions in a more anonymous setting. Go chat up some cute strangers in the streets. If you live in a big city, then even if you bomb, chances are you won't see that girl again, so who cares.
/r/seduction10/10/19 10:36 PM
2

Maybe not disaster, but I don't see this ending well, besides, if this girl is as good looking as you say, she probably is already seeing someone - cute girls always have some boys in their lives. My advice: don't rely on your friend awkwardly matching you with some girl, go out and find someone for yourself on your own.
/r/seduction10/10/19 10:26 PM
2

Sounds a bit dumb to be honest. If your friend wants to "match" you with her friend, she should introduce you two in real life or something, NOT pester you to message the girl online. That doesn't sound like it would go anywhere, besides, why does she force you to write to the girl if she admits that she doesn't even know if that girl likes you? None of this makes sense.
/r/seduction10/10/19 10:12 PM

Lol, try to use interpunction, and grow a sense of humour. Also, you put too much importance on looks. Paul Janka put it best, although I paraphrase: "looking good will improve your hitrate". That's it.

The next day, in the evening, I'll send a message like: "Hey <name>, I will call you in five minutes, prepare mentally" and after those five minutes I'll call and arrange a date. That 11% is the ratio of girls he's banged to the girls whose numbers he's got - but he got, on average, 8 numbers out of 10 approaches. Just wanted to point that out, but otherwise your point still stands. Also, what's with people in this thread bashing the direct opener of "hey, I thought you looked cute"? I open direct all the time and number close more consistently than my wingman who uses a more technical and indirect game.

Dude, there's a book that seems to be written specifically for you and it's called "Getting Laid In NYC" (no joke), written by Paul Janka, I recommend you read it. Edit: a word.

That probably won't help you, but... I'm going out right now, and telling a girl that she looks pretty is part of my standard opener. So, at the very least, you're not alone.

I heard of a guy in my city who'd go out during longer breaks at school and practice picking up chicks on the streets around his school. Supposedly the guy became a beast at this stuff. If he could make it work, I think you should be able to as well.

Dude, it's ok to approach girls in public. It is our duty as men to engage the opposite sex and initiate contact. And don't get into thinking you're being intrusive - you're just doing your job, and if you really are bothering the girl, she will let you know.
/r/seduction05/09/19 07:48 PM

He said "preferably a physical one". Drawing is not physical. Go pick up some combat sport. Those kind of sports are, honestly, underrated and training that sort of thing will improve your confidence greatly.

Honestly, if the reaction was as angry as this, then she's probably just bonkers. With that said, that's why I use pre-frames and start interactions with something like "excuse me, I know this is unusual, but...". And I will never forget that one girl who, while she had a boyfriend and wasn't ultimately interested, appreciated my approach and the conversation we had so much, that she told me to keep doing what I'm doing and that any girl who doesn't appreciate it must be crazy.

I don't mean "go practice in your social circle". I mean "go practice cold approach". And by resources I mean books or something. You tell me what you've got on Grandmaster Style - if you do actually have anything.
/r/seduction03/09/19 06:42 PM

I really think you should set the excuses aside and start practicing. I understand you have some resources concerning this style?
/r/seduction03/09/19 06:24 PM

I remember reading about the Grandmaster Style back in the day. Saying it was "made popular" is a huge exaggeration. I don't remember what exactly the style was about, or any nuance, but if your question is essentially "does sexual humour work", then the answer is "yes".

And you have only been rejected, over 300 times? Just so you know, I'm not trying to pick on you, just figure out what's the issue. I would question what speaking normally means to you - I know a guy who talks A LOT, plus he's very quiet, so that's a bad combo, and when I ask him to speak up he gets all agitated, like "am I supposed to shout?!". Because he thinks he speaks loud, or at least "normal", as you said. That's what he's used to at least, so for him it's normal. So that might be one thi…

33 year old daygamer reporting in. No bangs from daygame yet, but e.g. on Saturday I had a 21 year old girl grind on me while we were slow dancing at a playground on 2AM to some hip-hop music played by some random people sitting at a nearby bench, so I guess it's going alright. We take those, as the youngins say.
/r/seduction03/09/19 12:08 PM

Okay, cool. If you want to talk about this at all, how are your fundamentals? I mean things like grooming, hygiene, style, eye contact, vocal projection...
/r/seduction03/09/19 11:57 AM

No, you ARE being very weird about it. Look at the responses this thread is getting. And if you're new, then just read a bit first. It's rule 5 of this very subreddit. There are threads here very often asking for book recommendations. Look at those threads and pick a book to read, instead of making weird posts like this, with vague and overly broad questions.
/r/seduction03/09/19 08:38 AM
1

Or do you just want to find a lover, but you're being weird about it?
/r/seduction03/09/19 05:10 AM

Varied. Some girls banged on the third date, some on the first date. Not sure why a one night stand would be risky though - like, how do you imagine a one night stand?
/r/seduction03/09/19 04:59 AM
1

Anywhere. Usually on the streets, for example, when I'm walking home from a shop (I don't have a car and I walk a lot) and a cute girl suddenly passes my radar. I used to have a lot of fun thanks to Tinder, but that is now infested by bots and seems to have dried up for me, so all of my dates since April or so stem from me chatting up ladies in broad daylight on the streets of my city (okay, sometimes at night as well).
/r/seduction02/09/19 11:39 PM

Ha, I suspected unrealistic expectations from watching porn are responsible for your uncertainty here. Don't worry, you're good. Go smash that girl.
/r/seduction02/09/19 11:03 PM

Yep, makes sense. Normally I would just "next" her already, but... Nevermind, I'll try what you're suggesting.
/r/seduction02/09/19 10:56 PM
1

Looking at the lips is a genuine seduction technique though... I guess what you mean is that there is neither any verbal nor physical game going on. But do women really need game to get results in dating?
/r/seduction02/09/19 10:29 PM
3

Yes, I'm sure. Without going into details, my dick is of a similar size and I've had no complaints. In fact, I had one crazy ex who thought that's too long, and that it would be the perfect length if someone would snip the tip... <shudders> ANYWAY, if the girl can't feel that, then she has an abnormally huge pussy, I guess.
/r/seduction02/09/19 10:19 PM
4

That's a more or less average dick size. Probably no one is gonna go "wow" when you drop your pants, but you have nothing to worry about either. Besides, you just gotta work with what you've got anyway.
/r/seduction02/09/19 10:14 PM
2

Yeah, I had most success with online dating as well, but while I agree it requires less social skill, I'm not sure it requires less effort. Also, Tinder nowadays is very bot infested, so it no longer works for me, to be honest. I currently only meet girls via daygame, and while I'm yet to have the same sort of success with that, I feel daygame has a much better "approach to date ratio".
/r/seduction02/09/19 10:10 PM
1

Yo, I'm in a similar situation and already did what you advise here. No response - what would you suggest is the next step? Important bit of info: the girl's introverted and admitted that she sucks at getting in touch with people. I'm tempted to just blatantly ask "Hey, am I being ghosted, or is this just you sucking at responding again?"
/r/seduction02/09/19 09:56 PM
1

You mean, like a wingman?
/r/seduction02/09/19 09:42 PM

Do you actually practice cold approach though?
/r/seduction02/09/19 08:02 PM

Spot on. Except I think those are randoms who somehow ended up here from r/all or something. I wish r/seduction was free of those people, otherwise negative comments like those is what we're getting.
/r/seduction02/09/19 05:46 PM
2

But it's still a cold approach even if you get an approach invitation. To me this feels like an attempt to shame people who practice cold approach, done by a person who doesn't do it and appeared on this subreddit randomly. There's a lot of this lately on here...
/r/seduction02/09/19 01:51 PM
2

Not really. Also, you can say something like "I'll get the first round, you get the second".
/r/seduction02/09/19 01:33 PM

That's a weird thing to add to the definition.
/r/seduction02/09/19 01:24 PM

I like how this entire comment section is full of randoms who completely missed the point of the post, talk shit about OP, and yet still get upvoted somehow. It's a "yikes" from me, dawg.

The first book I read on the subject was "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka and I always recommend it. It's a decent book, although I don't agree with everything in there, and Paul himself later stopped doing some of the stuff he described in this one... Stuff by 60 Years Of Challenge is also brilliant and underrated.
/r/seduction02/09/19 12:08 PM

Except you clearly aren't seeing his perspective... So, using your logic, you also have your head up your ass? You seem to feel that your language and toxic behaviour is somehow justified, and I don't feel like explaining the obvious, so I guess we're done here.
/r/seduction02/09/19 11:50 AM

Yes, wanting to get laid is fine, but then you'll tell him he has hid head up his ass. I can't even. Stop being so toxic.
/r/seduction02/09/19 11:25 AM

I was in an open relationship for years as well. Learn cold approach pickup. You will also have to deal with the fact that women in open relationships have a much easier time finding partners than men in open relationships.

Well, "thank you" IS the best response to a compliment usually. The issue is not that you don't know how to receive a compliment, but that she's giving you too many and you're not comfortable with that. In which case you could, you know, just tell her that (in a joking way perhaps, you don't want to make this into a big deal).

This is some random chick who doesn't belong on r/seduction and is talking out of her ass. Just ignore, bro. First of all, congratulate yourself on taking action. Most guys on this sub don't. With that said, judging by your description of your approach, you're lacking in fundamentals: tonality, eye contact etc. Also, unless you're leaving something out, it seems that you're not being real with those girls. Sorry, man, but there are multiple issues with this "challenge". One I want to mention is: 5 boxing trainings per week. Doable, of course, but... Do you actually train in any combat sport right now? Do you know how exhausting a proper training is? If you're not already doing something like that, if you're not used to exerting yourself like that, then 1) you won't have energy left for anything else, and 2) you probably won't make it to 5 trainings in a week anyway.

I don't listen to music when I'm out picking up chicks. I find that if I do, I get too focused on the music itself and it gets in the way of actually interacting with people. With that said, I think some Buzzcocks songs are pretty good to listen to due to their lyrics. "Love Is Lies" is the best example, as it starts with the following: Well I'm going out I'm gonna find myself a lover I'm gonna look until I drop I'll never stop I won't give up in any way Shape or form

Don't marry her. You clearly don't want to. Moreover, at 31, you're JUST entering the phase in life when your sexual marketplace value as a man is at it's highest. You're not losing your only chance at a family, my dude. Besides, my personal experience is that marriage (or any other event that is a clear indicator for the girl that she has you in her grasp and you're no longer a challenge) absolutely ruins the dynamic in a relationship. Understandable. You love her, you don't want to hurt her, plus you're probably a little nervous about going into the unknown. But I think you know what you want, and you're probably young and you can hear the call to adventure. Heed the call. It's your time, and later in life you may regret not doing it.
/r/seduction23/08/19 08:50 PM
2

You want to break up and have sex with other women. Pushing that thought away will not accomplish much good for you. Do it. Tim, old RSD coach, did just that. IIRC, he loved his girlfriend, but left her saying "sorry, Cherish, adventure calls". Now it's your turn to take the call to adventure.

/r/seduction22/08/19 10:28 AM

So am I, doesn't change the fact that that's a question that's been answered many times by many people. I could elaborate on how my approach usually looks like, but I agree with what 60 Years Of Challenge once wrote - it's more "fear" than "how". In other words, as a noobie, you shouldn't concern yourself too much with the "how to" of approaching, but instead you should just go out and do it, so that approaching a girl stops feeling like a big deal for you.
/r/seduction21/08/19 03:49 PM

I don't know if I would count as average looking or not (probably not), but I am 30+, so here's my two cents. First of all, if you think online dating equals "endless amount of rejection", then I think cold approaching women in the flesh would crush your soul :D Second, I had my fun thanks to online dating, but no, I don't think it's worth the effort. Even if we assume this guy is indeed a daygamer, what actual value does this video bring?

You think this is about money, but it's not. Many men have said that picking up women is much easier in Southeast Asia, so that might be true, but that's likely because the male to female ratio is more favourable in those parts, and also because, as a white man, you are exotic there. Neither of those factors are in play in Eastern Europe. Edit: just read in one of your comments that you're not white, so scratch that part, I guess.

Had pretty much the exact same experience once. The girl was almost shouting "I don't have a boyfriend!" at me! Unfortunately, she never responded to me when I texted her some time later, but it was still a good experience that reinforced the belief that you should never give up, as gold is just around the corner.

I've been there. It's just a matter of your mindset, so called "inner game", and that's a very personal thing. What helped me to start approaching more was... Something very specific, namely: 1) the message conveyed in this picture: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/3c/2d/ce/3c2dce336f33d4b2b71d7b79348f5f9e.jpg 2) This particular translation of a poem by Baudelaire: "If rape, arson, poison or the knife has Wove no pleasing pattern upon this Drab canvas we call life, it is because We are not bold en…

He's been posting this for months. Some redittors say - years. The girl is likely married by now. You give decent advice, but you're wasting it on someone who won't listen, and will repost this again in a few days (if not hours).

You did get answers many times and I even told you to screenshot them for yourself and stop posting. Stop posting and get mental help.

Exactly, you delete it when you get answers, and then you post again claiming you didn't get answers last time.

Report as spam and move on, people. This has been posted so many times, the girl fron Tinder is probably married to some other dude by now.

Since "tip" is defined as "a small but useful piece of practical advice", "yes" is definitely the correct answer here.

Virgin at 17 is not "incel", it's normal. I can't help but actually shake my head whenever I see a teenager who barely ever even tried getting a date call himself an incel.
/r/seduction01/08/19 10:13 PM

Hahaha, yes, thank you for your concern. I wasn't even thinking about myself (although my daygame session today was rough, not gonna lie). There are just many guys who give up quickly, and I've seen it happen - and those guys won't make it, I'm afraid.

I think that telling a girl what you want, rather than asking what she wants, is a better approach. But try it out and you tell us if it's a good approach.

Pretty much, yeah. I don't know why would you want to create such a scenario in your head, but in this particular situation you could, for example, put a finger to her lips, go like "shh, shut up" and go in for the kiss anyway.
/r/seduction31/07/19 06:55 AM

Be scared and do it anyway. And if you do it a lot, it becomes almost second nature.

Take the offer. Don't wait for someone "special" - your first time will likely suck anyway, since you won't really know what you're doing, but you'll gain invaluable experience... And if you somehow fuck it up now, that is also an experience you want - assuming you're smart enough to identify what you did wrong and learn from it.
/r/seduction30/07/19 07:30 PM

Go meet other women.
/r/seduction29/07/19 11:16 PM

I feel like that's something you'd do on a first date more than a first contact thing to be honest. But yeah, this video helped me a lot: https://youtu.be/5DsVwYqVhdU and there was also a good video by Badboy, where he was talking about something similar - going back and forth between what he called "TCC" (trust, comfort, connection) and sexual escalation, but I saw that video years ago and can't find it now.

Dude, I'm rooting for you. But don't get back to us after 50 approaches - you might not get there as quick as you'd like... No, get back to us just to tell us that you did the first step.
/r/seduction29/07/19 09:25 PM

Physical escalation. I don't really know, but I can kinda tell there was very little of that. Also, you can have a very "normal" conversation verbally as long as you keep things interesting physically.
/r/seduction29/07/19 09:22 PM

It means we see that face very often, you know?
/r/seduction28/07/19 09:29 PM

I go out by myself almost every day. And I don't have vacations, I'm a grown-ass working man. It's like in that song: "I know exactly what I need to do 'Cause I don't wanna be alone tonight".

He wouldn't call himself an incel if it was, to be honest. And that's his issue, not his looks.
/r/seduction28/07/19 06:50 PM

You keep saying that, but with every fact from your life that you disclose it gets more and more apparent that's not the case.
/r/seduction28/07/19 06:49 PM

So girls tell you you're good looking AND you have a good physique. HMM.
/r/seduction28/07/19 06:46 PM

"17 and still a virgin" is normal. You barely lived enough to do anything in your life, probably never even tried blatantly picking up a girl in your life, and you label yourself an "incel"? That's nonsense.
/r/seduction28/07/19 06:03 PM

If you want to disregard everything that's being said, and you don't want to learn anything, why are you here?
/r/seduction28/07/19 06:01 PM

https://youtu.be/XebLTm3GleQ at around 3:20 is a message for you, but I urge you to watch the whole thing - and watch the guy as well. How good looking is he? And yet he claims he lost count how many women he banged when he got close to 500.
/r/seduction28/07/19 05:15 PM

So shouldn't that be 0 out of ten? Or just admit you made that number up yourself and that you just have a fucked up mentality about this.

Do I have to ask again? 3,5/10 according to who? You just have a fucked up incel mindset, it seems.

We all have a story, or several stories. Learn cold approach pickup with us. Read "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka, and after that perhaps "The Game" by Neil Strauss to get the basics.
/r/seduction28/07/19 03:06 PM

Well, yeah, because even if you're Brad Pitt the best you will probably get is girls orbiting you. You have to make the first move yourself. As I said, girls rarely message first. We have to be the proactive ones.

An average girl gets enough male attention, that she can afford to just be passive and not put in any effort, and still will still have plenty of guys orbiting her to choose from.

I really don't know what you mean by "positive tension". Is this a concept by this Avery Hayden dude? Because I'm not familiar with him or his work. But yes, sometimes you want to just shut up, especially if someone just gave you an unsatisfactory anwer (too short or whatever), just being silent and holding eye contact with a neutral facial expression can be enough of a cue that you're not satisfied with the answer and waiting for more, and even if it's not, sometimes the other person will keep …

15 approaches in one day, nice! That's not "mediocre", if you're just starting out that's really good. My record is 16 I think. What do you mean when you say "good tension"? Also, from experience, you don't want to wait a few days to text a girl. By that time she will forget who you were and/or won't respond at all. I find that you have to text a girl within an hour after getting her number to get anything going on. But try it out for yourself and see what works for you. I'm also in my early thi…

Most of the people you mentioned are called "hired guns" in PUA lingo and my personal take is that "hired guns don't count". You want to get good at picking up chicks in the streets? Then start by approaching cute passer-bys, NOT the girl who's stuck there because she's at work.

Dude, could you come up with a more beginner question? Do some reading. I personally started with "Getting Laid In NYC" by Paul Janka and I recommend it. Will fit you even more, since you actually live in NYC. Edit: I like how joke answers are being upvoted, and mine is being downvoted, when reddiquette clearly states that the point of upvotes and downvotes is to upvote what contributes to the conversation and downvote what doesn't. Also, read rule two of this very subreddit.

Good points, but I think that it's mostly that the majority of people combating the idea that "looks don't matter" are just, frankly, stupid, and they missed the difference between "looks don't matter AT ALL" and "looks don't matter AS MUCH AS MAINSTREAM SOCIETY WOULD TELL YOU". The second one is what is being told, but I see a lot of people seem to think everything in life is either black or white, nothing in between, so they miss a lot of the nuance.

There is this Chinese proverb: "The man who thinks he can, and the man who thinks he can't, are both usually right". So if you think you can't just come in, pin her against the wall and start kissing with her... Then you probably can't.

Oh, I know not everyone is, don't worry. It's just that I already had someone go through my comments and start nitpicking on things I said because they disliked something I wrote once. Adding the picture of my face here is giving too much to work with for people like that, I feel. Coincidentally, that's also why I don't feel like posting field reports on here.

I doubt I would get 50 replies to my thread on reddit, whereas asking 50 strangers for their opinion is not a problem in a big city. Anyway, you could do either, or neither, but I'm not looking to have toxic people come and comment "hurr durr you ugly" on my pic on the internet.

One, I'm not entirely sure about the "objective" part: we experience the world according to our own unique filter of biases. Therefore, what you described here seems to be just your perspective on very small social cues - a perspective that goes through a filter of your own biases first (stemming from insecurity or previous bad experiences) and gets interpreted only once that filter has been applied. Two, the point was that we don't have enough information to tell you what is really happening.
