I've approached probably 50-100 girls by now and I've only gotten three phone numbers which really didn't lead to anything. It's so frustrating.... Is it just because I'm living in Germany? I feel like that it would be way easier for me in the US.

I've been told by a mod to give more details and some examples, so here they are!

The way how I approach: I really tried out many types, also those of PUA like ThatWasEpic and it did not generally end positive. I mean, I never got a hard rejection at all in my life, so that is a good thing. I usually go for the quick approach, stating that I find her attractive/beautiful (many different variations but generally it has the same meaning) and then asking her if we should hang out together. There were a few times when I took the more "discrete" route by initiating a normal converstaion which seems to yield better results - girls were really interested in me 2x that way but because I got rejected so often I did not even ask for numbers, I just did it so that I could "gain experience/be toughened". Stupid mistake, but I have learned of it.

One good example: I was going to the sports campus and I met two cute girls on the underground and went to them. One girl left pretty quick because she forgot something (and I thought just to get rid of me but it could have been so that I could have an easier time with the other girl), so we talked for like 20-30min and went to the campus, she asked many questions back but I did not ask for her number as well. She was very attractive and studying medicine (smart as well!

Another example what I did recently a lot: I went to the girls, asked for their name, always shook their hand (they always gave it) and then asked if they are single/have a boyfriend. And then tried to continue the conversation or end it. Did not yield big results.

Another example: There was that 10/10 girl waiting on the train station Münchener Freiheit and I was there as well, I was pretty nervous so I went up to her and told her that "I simply had to say that she looked very attractive" and she was so happy, damn! I never saw a girl so happy for a long time. She was very attractive so I was surprsied why she was so happy, she also asked me "what made her earn that great compliment" and I replied that I simply had to say it. She was really extremely happy, no other girl was so happy which I had approched before so I was quite shocked, considering she was 10/10 also. We talked a bit and she said that she is 32 years old and I am just 20, so I thought that it is not worth asking for contact data so I said goodbye at one point and left. It worked because I really had to say it I think, it was really genuine. My heart was racing and I simply felt like that I had to say it.

My plan after recent experiences: So my plan is to ask for their name first, shake their hand and introduce myself and then to continue with the conversation. I think though that this may be too bold for many girls and scare them off - but it may also show some low degree of trust. I do not really now.

I can generally say that I have become way more confident by now. I could easily approach every girl, but often I simply do not feel like it because she did not show any "sings of interest" (looking to me, smiling, curling her hair after she looked to me etc.) and I think that it would just end up in rejection so I do not do it at all. Today there were a couple of those cases when I went outside.

About me: I'm 20y/o, 5'11" - 6"/179-181cm and athletic, way better than average looking and had experience with really attractive girls (7-9/10), but the experience happened "slowly". Never did a cold approach work for me. I am native/fluent in both German and English. I actually tried approaching in English which did not work because they did not understand so I changed to German. I feel like approaching in English is easier but then I think that people here are not that great in English after all, and why should I make them think that I am English when I am German after all. I have a very mixed descent, mainly German and Turkish descent and look like a Spanish/Italian guy (got told that so many times when I was there) got boring brown hair and brown eyes. This should not matter much though.

I really need motivation.... Won't it simply work because Germany is different or what? I get the impression that girls don't want to date new, attractive guys. They need to "be known already" Or do I just have to keep trying? I'm kind of sick of the same outcome, I really am.

I'm not nervous anymore, I just feel that it's simply not worth getting rejected again, as I have described above as well.
