So I just heard from a girl I use to know, we used to be friends when we were younger, late teens and early twenties. For a long time I guess you could say I was one of her beta orbiters, although we did hook up eventually. None of that matters now, I'm not interested in her anymore. I think the last time I seen her was at her wedding, maybe eight or ten years ago. Last I heard she had a kid, I'm sure she is probably post-wall at this point.

She doesn't live around here anymore. Today I get a voicemail, saying she is going to be coming into town for her birthday and trying to get people together again. I don't know what this is about, I thought we were all old enough we don't do that shit anymore.

She just sent me a text asking if she has the right number.

I'm not sure I want to hang out at all. I'm not sure I want to even respond.

Haha. Maybe I should I just tell her I'm busy this week and she is too old to be having birthday parties.
