I recently came from my country of origin, where I spent holidays. The country is in North Africa. People there are direct as hell, take what they want if you let them. So frame comes naturally.

Now, here in Europe, people are too fucking nice, have manners etc. Also passive aggressiveness is the way.

The other day I told a waitress, not asked, what I wanted, took my time, she was a bit amused.

I realized that maybe what is considered "rude" is only idgaf mentality shamed by people.
