If lets say I was outside and I saw a girl vaping, could I approach and ask if it helped her quit smoking and then just talk normally and finally at the end say "I'd love to get to know you better, you seem like a potentially interesting person how about a coffee?".

Or would this seem kind of a cop out way to approach? I mean going up and being like "Hey your cute" shows intent right off the bat but I feel like it puts the girl right on the spot... where as my way shows intent at the end when I tell them I'd like to know them better so they can make their choice based on already talking to me for a few minutes and experiencing me.
