Feminism lately has been brought into the media frenzy frequently, however the number of women identifying as feminists has dropped. I think this is largely due to the negative connotations of the word. It astounds me to see feminists in my own class who fall for the same cliche look, dyed hair, overweight and verbally opinionated. Be realistic, this fad is dying slowly.

Women I think are waking up to the slut culture and beginning to see how damaging it is for them. Look at all the older single women who genuinely live lonely lives surrounded by cats. It's real for a reason. If we are lucky, this sill fad will end. Women's rights was like a huge Pandora box being opened. Difficult to close it will be. Until then we will have to endure state sponsored cuckoldry.

There was a survey done a year or so ago at found that though most people were pro-equality, most were not feminists. Only ~18% identified as feminists, which was a decrease from years before.

Wouldn't be surprised if the number has since dropped even further.
