I've always naturally felt like explaining yourself was weak, or that it just didn't matter too much, and I know on here y'all say to never explain yourself to a woman, but I've had lots of issues with not explaining myself.

Some friends and family now assume the worst of me (could just be me imagining/being paranoid, but IDK) because they don't know my reasoning for doing certain things and I recently got passed on for a job for not explaining myself.

On the other hand, when I've tried to explain myself, I'm met with entertained smiles as if to say "lol, he feels the need to explain himself to me," or IDGAF reactions, or "it's not a big deal," or eye rolls, etc. Sometimes it makes it worse, even though I'm just trying to fill whoever in on why I'm doing what I'm doing, they take it as an admission of guilt or wrongdoing and get real bold all of us sudden to start treating me as a guilty party.

Is it always weak to explain yourself and I'm not outcome dependent enough or I give to much of AF, or do you need to explain yourself sometimes? Seems like the latter to me, but then I feel like I'm so shit at gauging when those times are. How do you gauge that?
