Women treasure commitment. They like the spinning hamster wheel of feelings associated with a committed relationship with a high value guy that other women want.

Your scenario is kinda derpy since it doesn’t take ages into perspective either. Some chicks settle for providers but wish they had a chad to ride. Some do it secretly while hitched. Women will always want chad. But, once women reach that breaking point when their value starts diminishing they’ll settle if they have to.
The women unlikely to remarry are the alpha widows. All others are likely to either settle for chad or try to settle for chad. And if they can’t after years of trying, they’ll settle for some beta fatty provider - when they lose their looks.
