I hate to break it to ya, but the common rule I've found is, if you're spending an inordinate amount of time thinking about a girl and that you feel the need to compete with another guy over her, you definitely have oneitis.

This is going to be harder than it sounds, but remove your attention from her. Focus on something else. Your studies, your sports, your college applications, whatever. An alpha male (i.e.: the kind of guy many girls would want to be with) does not give two flying fucks about what his standing is with one particular girl or whether or not he's got competition.

But if you're still insistent on pursuing it, go ahead. But try and save the roses and the romantic feels for later, if at all. And if she rejects you, hey, you're 17, and college is around the corner.

Definitely spend all your time and energy trying to bag this HB6, bro. Those high school girls with average faces and nice bods are so hard to come by and who knows when you'll EVER get another chance at one. Buy her flowers, sing a love song, talk to her constantly and make sure she knows how in love you are with her. She's the one, don't let her slip away!!! It's all riding on her!!!
