Thinking about hitting up my old fwb ( we were friends and then fwb) after not speaking for 10 months. We were very close, best friends / fwb for like 5 years. We stopped talking after she found a boyfriend ( I rejected her proposal for a relationship). I think she is single now. Would texting her “insert name, are you seeing someone” be weird lol.

If she says no, I’d invite her out immediately to escalate. I don’t want to text her generic bs like “Ive missed you let’s meet blabla”

So would a simple message “are you seeing someone? if not meet me at X place” be weird behaviour ?
