So for the past 4 months I've been lifting heavy 3 times a week and doing cardio the other days. I've thrown out my crappy, I'll fitting clothing, and I'm upping my fashion game bit by bit. I've also been eating a lot more food and higher quality, cutting out junk food and such.

So I've been doing this for the past 4 months, and I've obviously improved a ton, but almost all of the compliments and notice I get are from other guys. They're not hitting on me but it's just other guys in my dorm or on my college sports team saying stuff like,

Spiderman48, looking sexy as always.

I really like that look bro. You dress really well.

Lifting is doing you good man. You're getting bigger.

Your hair always looks so perfect! how do you do that?

These were all from different guys of varying SMV, some nerdy, some average, some are good looking themselves. For the most part I ignore girls since I'm not trying to date right now, I'm just focusing on improving myself. I talk to them but I never pursue more than just having an interesting conversation or making an acquaintance.

Do guys just give compliments easier? Should I just keep on plowing through and continue with the self improvement and eventually the girls drooling over me will come? Or should I never expect to notice girls overtly checking me out or walking up to me and telling me I'm attractive?
