I can certainly see the argument here. I can't speak for other countries but in my language, we even have a word for guys that can't get girls because it's seen as such an integral skill to have. In the west there is a long tradition of associating people of color, especially black Africans, with sex. I can't speak much for non american examples, but in America the idea of black people having animalistic sex drives was used both to stoke fear of black men raping white women and to excuse white men raping their black slaves. In the 21st century elements elements of these stereotypes survive and so black people have basically become sex symbols. There is also some element of taboo about interracial relations, which compliments the taboo that sex still is in American culture. It might be somewhat different for Europe but I suspect some elements are in common.

I'm pretty sure you'd be able to do that no matter what colour they are. The whole concept of race identification is flawed because almost every country is ethnically different, with lots of countries having multiple ethnicities. Take Europe or Africa. You can't say Serbs are the same race as Italians, you can't say Nigerians are the same race as Mozambicans because they're ethnically, genetically, different.

But to rebut your main point, the Nguni tribes (Zulu, Xhosa, Swazi, etc) did settle here from Central Africa but it was before both the boers and the British. And even before that, both the Khoikhoi and the San peoples had already settled and spread roots here, to the point that that we don't even know when they came. So no, the land wasn't empty. I don't even know why we're arguing this, this is public record. Every kid in Southern Africa learns this in primary school.
And you can't really say "the countries that are doing best" because literally every country save Liberia and Ethiopia were colonised.
