I've been interested in TRP principles for a long while (at least 2 years).

Under TRP directives I've been working on myself to add value every opportunity I can (right now I'm considering customizing my schedule to expand the numbers of opportunities i get, but I digress).

I've been drilling running for more than 2 years, I picked up calisthenics 6-7 months ago, started lifting 5-6 months ago, have been working on my software dev skills, worked on social skills, practiced improvijg my sleep schedule, did whatever i could think of. It feels egotistical to call them milestones but I feel I have made some measure of improvement?

I've been keeping to a pretty regular schedule of physical focus (3-4 sessions of 2h calisthenics a week + 2-3 sessions of 1h lifting a week) in addition to keeping myself up to date with my industry.

And yet I still feel depressed. I am no closer to getting laid regularly than I was prior to taking up the task of adding value to myself.

I have succeeded at adding some measure of value, but have no idea how to translate this to getting laid more frequently.

I see ugly nerds get hot girlfriends, and feel disheartened. Granted these are often LDR and not-serious relationships/the girl is cheating on the side, but women hide it so well that it looks like a nice thing to have.

I am going to keep adding value even if I feel like shit, but the sense of futility and discouragement is off putting. It feels like I am spending a disproportionate amount of time observing/criticizing/working on my form at the gym, as well as working on drilling my calisthenic movements, and yet never getting laid.
