I'm currently 20 working in a warehouse making £24,000 a year. I have no debts and left school with basic grades.

I have higher expectations of myself and don't plan on working low income jobs like this for the rest of my life. I see people in their 50's working the same job as me and it's just depressing to think about.

However, I have never come to a concrete decision of what I would like to do as a career. I believe once I've found 'that one career' that I am passionate about and provides a decent salary, I would put 100% effort into it and rise up pretty quickly.

A few things I might be interested in:
- computing
- police service
- business
- sales

Any tips on how I can get started?
Do people usually find a career and decide that's 'the one' or do they just stick with whatever they have available?
