Yes, it was LMR.

I've had that exact situation.

You can increase your chances of beating it significantly by going a few steps forward, one step back.

So, making out, playing with her tits, then going to finger her (3 steps forward) she says she has a boyfriend, so you go back to playing with her tits. Keep making the tension happen, get her hotter, then go to finger her. If she says she has a boyfriend again, you go one step back again. Keep doing this over and over.

Finally, if she relentlessly sticks to the "but I have a boyfriend" thing, you can do a freeze out. Just get off her, and say something like "it's cool," be super chill about it, don't be a dick. Start doing the most boring thing you can think of; like your fucking taxes. She will say "what are you doing," ... "my taxes". That's how I break through that type of LMR. But I'm sure there's better methods.
