In short, I'm 18 and I've been lifting for 3 years. The first year I've been doing calisthenics only.

My current stats are 5'9 167lbs with around 14-15% bf. I plan on reaching 180lbs then lean out.

The first 2 years I was lifting without following any real program, but still lifting till failure each time and workouts lasted like 1-2 hours.

Been following a 5x5 program for the big lifts for about 2 months. My strength has clearly increased, but I started looking unaesthetic. So I decided to add some accessory and hypertrophy workout (PHUL).

I'm getting into the powerlifting look (I know it's hard to believe considering my weight, but 1. I'm average in height and 2. I have really broad shoulder), which honestly is not really what I'm looking for in terms of aesthetics, even though I would like to increase strength.

My current lifts (5x5. I haven't tried 1 rep maxes yet) are (S: 176lbs, B: 132lbs, D: 209lbs). Yes, I'm weak considering I've been lifting for 3 years. But as I said I started strength just 2 months ago. Prior to that, I never really used to write down my lifts and increase them each time (fuckarounditis) and calisthenics was 80% of my workouts (pull ups/chin ups, weighted dips, pushups)

Should I just keep getting stronger and worry less about aesthetics? And start a 100% hypertrophy program once I increased the big lifts to a 1.5x bodyweight?
