You're seeking rationalizations in your mind for not going out. You can go out and commute to college, and live with your parents. If you're looking for a lay, it becomes a little more difficult depending on your parents. But you can still just go out.

Though this depends on where you are in your part of the world, even the most small of towns have a couple of bars hidden away. Bars are an optimal place to meet people. Utilize your social network to find local happenings where you live. Join clubs in college. You can still have an active social life at community college; it just is a little harder to get involved since most people show up, get their education, and leave.
