This is my first time posting on Reddit, so I apologize in advance if it shows.

4 years ago, I met a girl that would easily be at least a 9 out of 10 in my opinion and she's a genuinely kind-hearted person (perhaps LTR type material). She's five years older than I am, but we met because she came back to college to take a few pre-requisite courses since she decided to change her career path in life. She sat next to me in several classes and we spoke often and hung out occasionally. One day, I tried making a bit of a push in the relationship direction by telling her many of the things that I liked about her (possibly a beta move), and followed it by saying that I didn't mean it in a hitting on kind of way (very beta). Now, her response was that she was flattered and sees me as an amazing person and if she were five years younger, she would absolutely HOPE that I was hitting on her. Since then, she went on with her career and we only saw each other briefly on one occasion two years ago.

This is where I need some advice...this past May, after doing some research into TRP and reading the Book of Pook and Rational Male, I decided to contact this girl and see if there was any chance I could "sweep her off my feet" with my newfound alpha nature. I didn't have her phone number, so I had to resort to sending her a Facebook message. She seemed very excited to receive my message and went as far as to give me her new number (which I asked for) as well as offering up that she was living in an apartment near me and would love to meet up some time. However, the problem was that this was during finals week so I was unable to meet up with her, and at the end of the week I found out that she went on a several month long trip overseas, so I lost touch with her completely. That being said, I recently discovered that she is back in America as of this weekend, and I am wondering how I should go about contacting her and overcome the age gap between us. Since the last time her and I spoke, I have improved myself immensely in both my career, appearance, and personality, so I do believe that I have a decent shot with her, but I am also not looking to chase after her.

So Reddit, how should I go about contacting this girl without coming across as desperate and beta?
