I do well on dates but sometimes my text game fucks me up. When I start talking to new women I establish upfront that don't text much and mostly keep it for logistics.

I've been told my texting is too terse so I've been trying to be more flirty/sexual, though I came across as kinda creepy in this last convo. I'm looking for feedback on having my convos flow more.

This is the second time I lose frame over text. In this case I was thinking of opening with "hey maria, this is Uber support, I wanted to discuss your recent riding experience." It's a running joke since I drive for Uber sometimes. Should I say something more bold?

For context:

  • We are both in our early 20s, went to a drive-thru for drinks, and then went to my house to hangout. We are both back from college this summer so we both live with our parents right now.
  • During the car ride home after our date she asked if I was dominant and stuff. According to her, no one had ever carried her like I did when we were making out (suggesting it took her by surprise and she enjoyed it).
  • Didn't close but she implied being DTF at a later time (I live in a particularly conservative place so some girls take longer)
