Talking to my sister, a very RP woman, about her getting back together with her psycho ex boyfriend. She tells all about the physical fights, threats, bizarre behavior, property damage, blood, and tears the two have shed. That's one of the reasons they broke up. But the thing is, she's still down. He's alpha ish. Short but muscular, tattooed, strong ass frame, and started his own construction gig. Yet, he declared that he was in love a year deep, which seems way too early.

My other sister, same deal but older and with a kid/marriage/no physical fights. Seems like shes always being consoled by my younger sister, on the phone crying about her marriage.

So my question is: Does a "successful" ltr need this rollercoaster of drama to keep the female engaged? it seems to be working in these instances.

I ask because I am in an ltr that has been very smooth, and just hit one year. Although at times recently I may have made myself too available, slight indicators of losing interest are showing. Dread may be needed.
