So like most women (and men), my LTRs average day isn't too interesting. It's normally about how work was, and what kind of people she met - many times it includes guys that hit on her.

I find that last part off-putting. Not out of insecurity, but just plain irritating. So I decided to do something about it and I want to know if this was the right way to enforce boundary or if I lost frame:

She tells me about the guy, basically does the textbook description of good and bad description, most likely to get a reaction of jealousy out of me. I flip the script, put her out of the picture and just start outrageously fantasizing about this guy, amused mastery basically. I keep doing it until she's as annoyed by it as I was and begging me to stop. At that point, I politely and seriously tell her that that's exactly how I feel about it, and not out of insecurity but that I couldn't care less how many guys are trying to put their dicks in her and this is the kind of stuff she has her girlfriends for - that when I ask her about her day I want to know what she did and not what someone else did.

To this she admitted that she doesn't have much else going on and I joke about how we need to get her better hobbies, steer the conversation back to a lighter mood and fuck.

During the episode, not gonna lie, did feel like I was annoyed and irritated but flipped the mood pretty quick once I'd made the point. Is this correct? Any better ways?

Addition: Before anyone asks me to be stoic, it's what I'd been doing. The less jealous I was, the more she started telling me about the guys that hit on her. Plus, she's seen me getting hit on by other women but I decided to step me foot down and get her to shut the fuck up.
