Hi so I just turned 20 in college, dating a Junior girl in college. Everything's fine but her behavior has me confused. I asked her to be my girlfriend on New Year's and we've been "talking" since April.

Ltdr; Girl who I've been dating seems insecure and brings up how I have 15 lovers and will bring up side hoes even though I have made it clear I'm dating her, and not sleeping with other women. Have made out with other girls at parties, she has found out about it, though she is still with me.

Question: Why does she always bring up side hoes? Insecure? Should I fix it? Is this just the ltr form of the "are you a player?" Shit test?

Background:(free to skip) Took her virginity, had boyfriends in highschool, 1 in college that forced her to be his gf, never had sex tho bc parents brought her up religiously, has given bjs tho. Was her first new years kiss. Her longest relationship lasted over a year, fell apart when they went off to college. Cute girl, was honestly surprised she hasn't done anything.

Okay enough of that so the question is about her being paranoid of me having side hoes. Every so often she brings them up and accuses me of having them. Well start with the most recent occurrences, Valentine's day. I told her I had a couple of friend dates to go on while She was at work. Later She comes over and walks in on me sitting on one girls lap, and another rubbing my arm. Take her into my bedroom and I have a bunch of candy and a box on my bed. She thinks it's hers and I'm like lol no that's mine. And got out her 2 candy bars and choc. Covered strawberries which she proceeded to show off to her friend via a picture on Snapchat. She noticed the box and looks inside to see a fairly thoughtful gift. She pretends to act disinterested and with jealousy coming off of her pretty strong she was like "so who got this for you?" And wouldn't make eye contact and tried to play it cool. I just laughed. And she looked up and smiled and was like no tell me. I grabbed her ass and just laughed again and she's like nope spill. And eventually I was like "dude it's from my mom" and she was like oh. And I called her out on her jealousy and she came clean but didn't want to admit how jealous she was and just smiled and looked down and said "well you have like 15 lovers! I had to know who I was competing with" and then proceeded to tell me that I had no competition when it came to other people liking her at the moment.

She had also brought up how important monogamy was to her and how swans mate for life ect the previous weekend.

Last night she asked if I still wanted her to come over and I was like no bc I'll be honest here, I was pissed that she took 5 hours to respond to my snapchat. And then she was like oh okay...do you have hw or something? And I was like yeah. You can still come ig and told her to come over, which she did. She walked into my room and was like "oh it smells like vanilla in here. ...is it one of your side hoes perfumes? Because you were getting tired of me not having a smell?" (I tease that she has a neutral scent) and inwas like yep you know it. I was fairly emotionally distant that night not bc I was mad anymore, but I had other things on my mind and she sensed it and tried to be close and lovey to me.

Today I snapped her around 5, and she didn't open it, but posted a story, so she definately saw my snap to her, and took over 2 hrs to respond. Once she did respond I opened it and never replied bc I hate that shit.

I also don't like how she always brings up my "side hoes" when I've made it clear I'm dating her. I don't know why she does it either. Like my phone went off one night we were together with 7 snapchats in the span of 20mins. She watched my phone light up each time and when i finally reached to check them she was like "responding to your side hoes?" I was like mhm you know me.

Why do girls do this?? It's annoying. I don't even put effort into responding to it.
