This is tricky, since her staying in just because you're out of town would be retarded, but so is her going with some other guy who isn't even your friend. The smart thing to do would be to rely on friends for info about what does - or doesn't - happen. Your second best option would be to suggest she go with one of your friends, who you know has your back: her reaction to such an offer will pretty much tell you everything you need to know, and then some.

It would be hard for me to trust her but that's the thing to do in this situation. Don't seem insecure and no ultimatums. You seem to have it down. Get info from the inside if she does anything. I trust always unless given a reason not too but this scenario would bug the hell out of me
