Thanks for reading, it may be a bit long but I need advice.

:: I travel a lot for work, past 4 months I have been in Chicago but I am from the DC Area. Two weeks ago I meet a girl at bar (6 or 7 sure not high for many of you but I am breaking a 2 year dry spell). We hit it off have a good time, I walked from hotel to bar ( about .5 miles) and all my colleagues had left already. It starts to rain she offers me a ride home. I take it but lose frame and confidence and don't invite her in or ask for her number.

Week goes by and I go home. Yesterday she saw one of my colleagues at the same bar and asked him to give me her number. She knows I'm states away but anyway she asks... What do I do? Is it worth texting her even after I failed? How do I begin the conversation. I'm not 100% sure she knows my name but she does at least know/remember me as she asked my colleague to give me her number...

I'm lost now... what do I do?::

TL;DR - Met a girl while away from home, went well. I chickend out. She gives friend her number for me. What do?
