I've never really had good eye contact when speaking with people. I used to take public speaking and had very strong eye contact, but I haven't practiced it so I don't anymore.

I'm very natural and comfortable when speaking with people. Most of my conversations take place in my retail shop, so I'm in my habitat. I found that when speaking with customers I tend to look away and try to think of what I am trying to say. Almost familiar to when telling a story and you look up to think about what actually happened.

I know like with anything practice practice practice. Does anyone have any tips or mental ques I can give myself to hone and maintain eye contact?
