As a kid who was bad AF in middle school the teachers who got respect at least in terms of behavior were the ones who never let anything slide. Just be assertive. But never show a reaction because once a teacher got mad and complained at us it was go time for the rest of the year cause we know how to push your buttons. Also don’t laugh either cause you will only get more of it. Be super nice but don’t be a friend if yk what I mean. Teachers are supposed to be invincible and above us

And if you want your kids to love you and go out of their way to make class easy for you, just empathize with them and understand what they’re interested in to make class fun and learn more

with students - kick 'em out of class, write them up. no tolerance. make 'em do ISS or after school shit at the drop of hat. no arguing, no BS. just let them experience a GTFO reaction. let the principal deal with them. get trouble making distractors out of the classroom, have 'em sit in ISS with class work to do. just next the little fuckers the same as you would a troublesome woman you had dated.

with co-workers/principals - shit dude most schools are buildings full of women as far as professional life goes. it's gonna be a non-stop shit show. my wife is a teacher - she's done middle school and 5th grade. all her comments and talking about work, drama with teachers, gossip, back biting, over reacting to stuff, etc. - it's all confirmation on steriods of every part of what TRP preaches about women. and being a building full of women, it's an environment where all of it is magnified because they all play off each other and amp each other up.

best bet is to be aware, be weary, and say as little as possible while listening as much as possible. the more stoic, alpha, and the more you stay above the fray, the more they'll respect you.

Google classroom behavioral management. Spend the first week on training them how to behave (how to sit, how to dress (clean and neat), how to raise their hand to ask a question, how to get excused, yes even that basic. Pay attention to seating and put your underachievers up front and spaced between better behavers. Isolate the unruly ones when they act up by sending them to another teacher’s classroom (you form a game plan with the other teachers beforehand). Make your expectations clear beforehand. Be tough but fair and kind to those with troubles at home.
