Either fix yourself, or get a therapist. Don't take meds if you're still functioning enough for basic life. Books, meditation, honest reflection, finding the root of your problem, etc.

Find the right professional. Just like you every therapist is different. It took me five different people to find the right one. Also be patient with the process. It takes time expect a few months. It doesn't happen over night. You start making baby steps. I haven't had bad anxiety in two months and my thoughts are beginning to feel healthy. I finally found the right guy after 2 years of searching, countless hopeless thoughts that I was sure it wouldn't ever get better. It did. It took time. Have patience. Just keep trying.

Make sure your nutrition is on point and that you are getting exercise. By nutrition i mean plenty of vegetables. It might sound like bs but when you think about the fact that your emotions are just something created in your body it stands to reason that if your nutrition is lacking it can cause you some anxiety.
It's just personal experience but I stopped having bad anxiety after I started getting plenty of vegetables in my diet. Always worth a shot.
