I have a Tinder date tomorrow (Tuesday) that I scheduled last week. The girl seems really into me and likely down to fuck.
Last night she messages me that the 'red tide' has arrived, and do I want to cancel, or maybe do something else together. Our schedules have been hard to align so I respond along the lines of "Let's meet anyway, I'm sure we'll have fun." She agrees to meet.
I figure it's one of the following going on:
a) It's really shark week, she is into me, but is warning me ahead of time (I'd be down to fuck anyway, it doesn't bother me).
b) It's not shark week, but she's giving herself an easy excuse to not fuck.
Any suggestions on how to handle either possibility?
Update (cause I don't know who else to tell this to):
Things went very well.
Met at a diner in the morning. Escalated and kissed her within 10 minutes. Went to my place to "get to know each other better". We made out, start undressing. She pauses cause she's "nervous". I calmly reassure her shark week doesn't bother me, we'll take it slow and it'll all be okay. We continue. She pauses, goes to bathroom to "freshen up", and it's on.
Smashed, hung out in the hot tub, massaged each other, smashed again, took a nap together. Later in the day after she left, I ate Chick-Fil-A for the first time in my life, then went and lifted. Day off from work and nothing blew up there either. Overall, 10/10 day, would repeat.
She definitely wants to meet again. I'll teach her how to blow (sadly not a skill she has yet).
