I've never understood this even from teenage years. If I'm interested in a woman I make it clear fast that I want to date or more, and if she doesn't bite i will not interact with her again, of if shes in a circle I wont be chummy with her and trying to stick around and sneak in. I move on.

I wouldn't want to be plan B, and i certainly wouldn't want to even drag shit out. I want to lay it down fast or move on instead of hiding my intentions. If she has a BF, I would either not bother or make it clear still and she can take or leave it.

I don't have any real female friends for this reason. I either fuck them or don't interact as "friends" just in a friendly way at most if i dont want to fuck them or they dont but i must interact, like a professional relationship or something.

Anyway, what drives SO many guys to be like that? waiting around for months to years for their sniper chance, knowing they are plan b getting the scraps, concealing intentions and giving her all this attention and shit the entire time. what the fuck is the point. So many of my friends are like this and women I dated had many orbiters like this and we always laughed about them.
