I've been contemplating from going through Monk Mode (again sorta) for the past few days so that I can get back to a state that I once was where I was content mentally, waking up at 4 AM, studying hard, going out alone to find things to do, etc.

Recently I haven't been living my life in the way that I want to in which I'm thinking about entering a state of monk mode

The dilemma is that with monk mode, I will gain a new perspective in regards to changing my mindset, but I honestly believe that the areas in my life can be fixed without a monk mode and just more discipline and reading more (to change my perspective on some things)--

I don't want to enter a state of monk mode half-assed in which I'm here asking you guys for advice on where the balance should be? My social skills are fairly good but I have room to improve, I've been lifting consistently, etc. There are just some areas in my life that I can tighten up and I know where they are. A state of monk mode will just be like a drug to me in the sense that I will focused solely on self-improvement, but I may have to work on my social skills again coming out of it. What're your thoughts on the balance I should strive for? Should I enter a state of monk mode or not?
