My background: Been on TRP for about 6 months following a five year LTR. I'm good with people, low body fat and lifting for 6 months so I'm attractive.

Took a dance class to expand my social circle. I'm 21, there's a cute 20 y/o girl in the class that wasn't talking to anyone else. I talk to her, initiate light kino a few times. I'm not looking to date anyone rn, just be comfortable in my surroundings. She texts me on occasion, sometimes when I touch her she says that she doesn't like to be touched but she smiles and continues to talk to me.

Today we danced and afterwards I tapped her stomach with my hand (I'd never do this to an overweight girl, but she's slim). She basically told me to fuck off and don't talk to her anymore. I was pretty surprised, apologized. IDGAF, I'm just worried about a false harassment accusation.

What the hell?? I just treated this girl like a friend, I always do shit like that to lifting buddies after they do a set. Of course I can ghost her, which seems to be the only option as per her request, but it sucks dick that there's a person in this class that I can't even casually talk to.

If she had just said "don't touch me" I could have grinned and shrugged it off, but thank god no one else was watching or it would have caused a scene.

What should I have done?? I haven't had anxiety around a guy or girl in forever but that scared the shit out of me. Is this common? If so fuck kino, I'd rather not get accused of harassment.
