To expand on and broaden your questions, I think the qualities that would make an ideal NAWALT woman to most men would include the following:

Keeps hypergamy in check. She sees other men and has other opportunities but for whatever reasons she is content being with you.
Readily embraces her role as first mate. She is happy to support you as you steer the SS Relationship and she makes the ride enjoyable for you, putting the relationship first.
Keeps shit testing to a minimum. She realizes when she's acting like a child and does her best to nip it in the bud for you.
Takes personal responsibility for herself and her actions. She doesn't blame you, others or her weak feminine nature for her mistakes. She acknowledges her fuck ups and she accepts the consequences. (this is the most NAWALT thing a woman can do.)
She encourages your personal self-growth and is willing to grow with you and improve herself as well.

These qualities are considered NAWALT nowadays. Feel free to add more to the list.

Good questions man. I've only been lurking around /r/theredpill for a few months now but I can definitely tell you that hypergamy is the hard rule of TRP. Anthropologically and evolutionarily speaking (like I said - NOT an expert, just a lurker) we humans haven't quite been able to shake the influence our genes and brains play when it comes to the continuation of our species. Like the sidebar readings suggest, women have the most to lose (physiologically speaking) when they get pregnant and must make the best decision with a mate should they chose to become pregnant.

TL;DR NAWALT I feel is a broad term that includes the exceptions you mention. Yes, hypergamy is a solid rule.
