History: 6’4 150lbs 20 year old guy. Spent years 14 till 18 as a varsity swimmer, being the best breaststroker of the team. However, rarely spent time at the gym during this period. I guess I had natural talent for the stroke but had I hit the gym, I would have seen much more improvements.

Now in college, I want to get big but lean. I already got the weight problem undercontrol (trying to eat 3500+ calories everyday). Now I just need a workout plan. I have been going to the gym irregularly but now I got an dedicated schedule where I will stick to it (https://youtu.be/007QcKxgMmk).

My schedule right now consists of working out on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for two hours (this is pretty flexible but these days I have the most free time). I really want to focus on training for size instead of strength (big arms and big chest). Should I add any more days? (like 4 times a week or 5?). Also what is the ideal amount of sleep necessary for me? Do protein shakes help out a lot?

I would say working on my arms size is most important to me. Since I’m skinny and low body fat, my arms are pretty small. Pretty similar to this guy: https://youtu.be/f9x74SlY1ik?t=16s (except my arms are a little bit bigger, since ive been curling pretty regularly: 25lbs, 20reps, 5 sets. almost going 30lbs)

what are some good workout programs for what Im trying to accomplish? For example, if i am training arms with dumbells is it better to do 10 reps and 5 sets (for each arm) or grab heavier weights and do 5 reps and 5 sets? I would say this is the order I want to improve the most: arms, chest (aka wider), back, legs, everything else.
