Had a great date last Friday, havent spoken to her since then ( she went on a trip ). She is back now so I want to invite her on a 2nd date.

First of all I need advice on how to invite her, is it weird to just tell her "I am going to grab a coffee there and there join me" without messaging her prior to that?

Also, I need advice on where to go? I would like something more interesting this time or avanturistic but have no ideas. Coffee dates get boring.
