So I've seen this pretty woman on the train I take a couple of times a week. I think I've got a good conversation-starter. I plan on commenting on her accent, as it genuinly is my favourite accent (and it is one of the native accents here, so she probably won't be offended).

Here's the problem: In order to comment on her accent she'll have to speak right before I do (Otherwise I'll seem creepy for listening to her conversations the week before). The solution is to do it when she's with her friend (she often is), because then she will know I heard her speak.

So the question is: What are some good ways to "interupt"/jump in to their conversation without being "that wierd guy"? And when is a good time?

All advice are welcome!

Note: I am a complete stranger to both of them.

And I've got something to talk about after the accent-comment because we all attend the same university. I just need advice for the jumping-in-part.

Bonus: If I ever see her without her friend, what are some good ways to get that accent-comment in? Any other conversations-starters? Thanks!
