Backstory: cute girl I've got eyes for. I have a few classes with her and we've talked here and there but I know her mostly through other friends.

Last friday I messaged her "hey" and she responded immediately. I asked her if she was free to grab drinks that night and she told me that she couldn't, because she was out of town at a friend's wedding (before anyone asks: she posted a few pictures later, she was actually out of town, she wasn't bullshitting me)

This was 4 days ago and we havent spoken since. Herein lies my question: should I ask her to hang out again now that she's back in town OR should I wait to see if she reaches out to me to try to reschedule?
