How new are you here? It should be pretty obvious if you read further than two posts down /TRP that you're already nit picking and fussing about way too much.

Do you know what hamstering is? You're hamstering right now. Hamstering is what girls do. So stop.

This girl isn't the beginning and the end, she isn't going to make or break you. She is a random bimbo that can be replaced instantly by any of the 30 girls you'll run into at a typical bar.

What do you have to lose? If she doesn't come does that mean you'll never see her again? Does that mean she hates you? No. She didn't come and so what. Go to school Monday, she'll ask how it went, make her jealous and say it was fucking awesome and maybe she'll want to come next time.

You've just met this girl and already your whole Monday night is revolving around her. Here's what you should do.

plan an awesome night out for you and maybe some friends
some pretty chick you never met walks by.
"hey I'm going for drinks on X, you should come."

So basically, if she comes, that's great for you, if she doesn't, you already had a fun time planned with your friends and her not being there doesn't even matter! This is the uncaring attitude you need.

And by nitpicking with this girl trying to convince her to come on a date with you and get drinks with you makes you seem needy and desperate and will close her legs faster than aids.

If anything doing those things will make her dislike you MORE than just saying "I'm going to be here at X come meet me."

So choose one:

Have her decide she doesn't like you right now by annoying her to come and her saying no then losing all your chances with her

Or go have fun at the bar, let it slide, pretend she doesn't matter, and next week ask her again, but wait for a weekend night instead so she can't smokescreen you.

Tada you just turned one chance into two and possibly made her more attracted to you.

Thanks for the explanation guys. Makes a lot of sense. My plan is to go silent for now and text her on Monday and say "Hey I'm going to be at X at 7PM, you should join me".

This isn't terrible, but I simply say, "I'll be at X at Y time." Depending on our rapport, I might add, "See you there."

Bear in mind that my texting game is different from the one used by the majority of TRP and it works for me. I am a professional writer and I am quick with wit and humor. While most of TRP says to keep text to logistics, I don't follow that policy. I cannot stress enough that you should always follow the sidebar and not me. The sidebar was written by experts in many fields who studied this for a long time. I mostly found a few things that work that fit my personality and I use them.

But one thing I totally agree with the sidebar on is that I don't make suggestions to women. I tell them. I generally just say, "I'll be there at this time. See you there."

Now, does it work all the time? Nope. Sometimes I get flaked on. It happens to almost everyone. It tells me that my SMV isn't high enough for that girl. Do I care? Not even a little. Last time I was flaked on I ended up singing happy birthday to a guy who was out for his 21st birthday party, got free cake, and had a great time. I don't even remember the name of the girl that was supposed to meet me. The guy's name was David and he's still a friend of mine.

Id drop the "you should join me."

I know you really want her to come but you already invited her and she knows that. Honestly it seems harmless but again remember we are talking about girls here. (Irrational, emotional, confusing, conclusion jumping girls)

Girls dread direct confrontation, they like playing games, and I feel like it just adds unnecessary pressure to her to say yes or no. You don't want her to decide yes or no anything. You want to plant a seed in her, the drive in her, to subconsciously become attracted and then it's not about a yes or no question, it's about a "I'm attracted to this guy and I wanna go out."

It's up to you I don't think it'll screw your chances but I think you should focus on playing it mellow. Like I said there's not much to lose if she doesn't come. Another day. By playing cool guy you leave more opportunities not to fail, versus giving yourself more opportunities to fail by complicating things.
