Recently I've been going out a lot and whenever I'm conversing with a girl and we get intimate and ask each other about our daily lives and what our plans are, they always respond to me asking me if I'm trying to impress them, when in actuality I'm not and I just live a rather lavish/hectic life; I understand where they're coming from as a lot of guys try to impress women through materialistic and superficial things, which comes off as corny and insecure, not what I'm after. How can I respond to these common shit tests, where the girl is suggesting I'm trying to impress her.

e.g.

Girl: "So, what are you doing later this summer"

Men: "Going to Spain with a bunch of friends and then off to Greece, how about you?"

Girl: "Oh look at you, travelling all around the world" saying it comically

Me: ?

How do I respond to something like this without seeming so defensive and similar situations?
