Basically I need to dedicate the next 3 months to studying about 4-6 hours a day. I'm taking the LSAT in September and I already signed up for a course which meets twice a week for 4 hours. That course will provide me with enough homework and extra studying tools to keep me busy. The course starts in 2 weeks, and up until then I've been trying to study other relevant material on my own but I am simply not putting enough effort in as I should.

2 years ago I developed the disciple to work out to the point where I'm lifting 6 days a week and doing mma 4 days a week, (Thank you /fit/). Now, I want to cultivate the same discipline but instead with studying so that I can make brain gains.

I quit cigarettes 2 weeks ago so as to help with irritability and restlessness, that definitely helped. Dropped and blocked a plate who I was somewhat emotionally invested in after she denied me sex, had a ONS with a different girl I just met the very next day, that helped too. I also browsed /r/nootropics and purchased L-Theanine + caffeine pills, those are helping somewhat. But ultimately I just can't find a quiet place with no distractions, rather, I can't keep myself from getting distracted. Even as I type this post I know that I should be studying.

For those who didn't have Asian parents growing up and who are generally well off that didn't study out of necessity (bills, scholarships, etc.), how did you do it? Any law students here care to share some insight and motivate me? I generally don't believe in motivation but maybe that's what I need right now. This is the number 1 priority in my life right now yet I am failing to treat it as such.
